However, the government gives out free televisions that only air networks owned by NBC, PBS, CSPAN, and Telemundo (for the illegal immigrants!), so we have fewer choices than you rich conservative folk.

TRMS is a political news and commentary show. She is a news commentator. That's her job. At least she doesn't lie, like her conservative counterparts on other networks do. And I'd wager she's the only one with a PhD. She has the credentials and experience to opine.

Fisrt, what you call lying they call the truth. It is a numbers game. Though i find it funny that numbers do not lie and well her show does not usally crack a million a night where as her counterpart Sean Hannity usually runs between 1.5 and 1.9 million with same access to audience. Also, she was on the radio before come to MSNBC on that failed liberal radio network where as Sean Hannity is on at least 300 stations daily. I am not lying here this are facts that are on liberal sites like tvbythenumbers.com and radioinfo.com. OH and arbitron.com. I think lies are not numbers do not lie..

Perhaps Sean Hannity just has more initiative to do all those things than her..... TRMS is the ONLY MSNBC show I watch because it usually requires some thought. Can't listen to the other blowhards and baiters in that MSNBC political commentary sandwich. Watching them carry-on for four days of convention coverage reiterated that. I think they even drug her down a bit (hence the troll-thread).

I hope they can get some better co-host to work with her before the debates and election night coverage comes around.

Well, if you take into account our ecomony is still struggling out of the pits the Republicans left us in and that MSNBC costs you to watch while Fox is a freebie, I would say that there are alot of people that would be watching Rachel if they could afford the additional cost.

I think he perfectly enacted the current state of the republican party.

But her husband, when President, crashed Glass-Stegall and negotiated Fair Trade agreements that resulted in companies closing American plants and sending jobs overseas. While I, too, would have liked for this President to hold those who caused our near depression accountable, I'm not sure Hillary's balls would have caused any different outcome for those same crooks Obama has not prosecuted. She's a talented woman, but flawed, just as President Obama is, so I wouldn't put her on that pedestal yet.

I am not putting her on a pedestal.. But if there was one thing I took away from the primary fight between her and Obama , is that she demonstrated a will to FIGHT to the bitter end. Something Obama has not done since getting elected president. On the contrary , Barack Obama for all his Rhetorical skills does not like to put up a fight. I would love to see Wall Street and the banks that caused our financial collapse prosecuted for their actions, but unfortunately you have to prosecute based on the laws. The prior administrations had removed all the laws that would have prevented their greed and grift to cause a collapse. You cannot prosecute a criminal when the crime is not a crime under the law. It would be nice if the current administration could go back and apply the Dodd-Frank act to the actions, but even our President has to live under the constraints of due process.

My boss in 2004 predicted this collapse when the sub-prime bill was passed. Where was our protection in Congress? Where was our protection in the White House? When have you heard any Republican calling for prosecution of these creeps? President Obama has signed into law the Dodd-Frank bill and the Republicans have blocked and stalled any and every attempt invoke its application.

It's time to stop treating our President as a failure because of what the Republicans have done or worse yet accusing him of being a coward. He tried to close Gitmo - Congress stopped him. The only way he can get his appointments through is to do it himself when Congress is in recess. He has legal limitations that he has to work with, and I am tired of all the blame he carries because he has had to fight like Perseus against the Kraken to get even the most innocuous bill through the House of Representatives and the Senate.

C'mon folks, when you walk in his shoes you can make your judgements, but I have never seen such disrespect and obstruction toward any President prior to President Obama.
