Sarah Palin said on Fox News that John Kerry "diminished himself" by saying her name in his convention speech(!) Yes, just saying Sarah Palin's name can diminish a person... and, I hear that if you say her name three times real fast, she will appear!
After the president's spech you switched to two correspondents "on the floor". Both refered to items in the speech & commented on them. I don't recall either of the items being uttered from the podium. Perhaps they read them from the press release.

Imo, MSNBC more fully revealed it's actual identity this week as Democrats revealed our soul, our heart, our conscience, and our vision for America. MSNBC isn't liberal. It's just not. It may lean to the left but it seems to be true that besides the MSNBC Republicans, some hosts who are politicallly cloaked, like Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell clearly lean right. MSNBC's clearly uncloaked Dem. hosts it seems are O'Donnell, and Sharpton, and shapeshifter Schultz. Chris Matthews walks the balance beam as he leans mostly left. MSNBC received substantial viewership increases thanks to the Dems. and America saw more clearly in increased numbers that MSNBC is not liberal. It also seems that Doctor Maddow is allowing the fact that she is not a Democrat to come more fully to light on the air, but also that she is morphing. Perhaps the "Maddow Blog" butterfly chrysalis stories over the past weeks are illustrative of the evolution Doctor Maddow envisions herself undergoing. Doctor Maddow seems, politi-genetically speaking, to be a liberal-tarian with some conservative leanings. Doctor Maddow's evolving as a catbird and pundit.
