Please take you sermons to a Catholic site where I am sure it will be appreciated. You are not God and therefore your judgment of another is simple just you being judgemental.

Stop trying to force your beliefs on others, each person has the right to find their own path to God or not. We are a Country of diversity and that includes Religious diversity. Leave everyone alone to believe what they choose to believe. You and the Republicans have to understand you can not legislate Religion.

I am certain that you would choose to silence me and any other (republican, conservative or otherwise) who wishes to freely express themselves only because they profess a belief other than yours. You are not talking about "diversity" here, you are talking about a refusal to admit one be allowed to religious expression and or in other cases, the freedom to speech. Only because it is contrary to your strongly held beliefs. I find that type of thinking, hypocrital and in your case here written towards me, disengenuous. Yur arguments against my rights are intellictually dishonest. Because you are not concerned about a freedom to believe what one wants to, rather your concern is to discontinue any activity or speech which would harm the progessive movement forward of your own thought as it regards , God, religion or faith matters. But not exclusive to these. No you would prefer that all those who do not agree with you to shut up and go away. Instead of contering my positions on God etc, you wish to expell my thoughts and expressions from the public forums. They are anathama to you. Instead you want me to keep my little thoughts in a tiny little box or room (maybe a church or church hall) where you won't be bothered by them and you can continue to dispell anything which is contrary to your opinions. God forbid anyone else hear the words and be moved in an opposite direction.

No one is trying to legislate religious beliefs, no more than you and some who believe as you do. Restrain the thought about god, damn the very expression of adoration and or doctrinal adherance. I have seen the exercises of crude and reactionary attacks on others who disagree with you and this blog's audience . Those who address matters and issues in a diverse manner. Let's just take the owner of Chick Fil A. The bigoted, hatefull and vile expressions here were outrageous. But yours was the freedom to express them. If it were up to you neither I or anyone else who disagreed with you should ever type a syllable. Goodness no. Shame on anyone who disagrees with those here.

Let me tell ya', as a lay catholic not only do I have the right to say something, I have the obligation to do so. Any lay catholic is commissioned to do so through the reception of the sacraments of baptism and or confirmation. It's a duty. That is what the "propagation of the faith" both means and entails. More than a "civic duty" to which many feel the obligation to adhere to in the secular rhelm. So when I hear Ms Maddow proprt to tell a story about the catholic faith and in this case Sr Simone Campbell and I know beyond a reasonable doubt that it would be offensive to my obligations towards the church not to counter that, then I have the obligation to respond. If you or anyone else here doesn't like that, so be it. Close your eyes and shut your ears. Ignore me as another of your fold would instruct you to do.

The ONLY reason I ever came in here was to stop the distortions and false claims about Sr Simone Campbell and to destroy the fabricated nuances about what she stands for. Especially that she at all represents the Catholic Church. That is a LIE. This offends me. No matter what your reason, I have every right to do so. This is America. And that is what real democracy is about. You, who claim that I and others exercise a form of fascism because we should dare relate our beliefs, are simply being hypocritcal. For YOU are true fascist when you resist the rights or seek to suppress the rights (let's say as they would at the DNC, "the God Given rights", after all it's YOUR platform) of others like me and which belong to me as an American citizen living in this country.

I first came in here protesting the lies and misrepresentations of the truth about the Catholic Church. That which is presented by first Ms Maddow on her television show and secondly by the blog author who has a "vactionally exercised history" with Barry Lynn's Americans For Freedom Against Religion Org. If someone is going to scandalize the faithful and others or no religious affiliation, no matter what YOU think, I have the obligation to stand against them. And in speaking out here, I am exercising the right, liberty and duty to do so. Just as much as any Occupy messenger or any one affiliated with the recall movement previously held throughout Wisconsin.

You want to restrain me because mine is not the ONLY opinion in regards religion, faith or political matters. You want only YOUR thoughts and beliefs institutionalized and those who agree with you, ONLY you. You don't really care about diveristy of religious belief, no, you want your secularistic god/religious belief ( which in my opinion is a marxist democrat ideology )to be imposed on everyone.

As long as Maddow and the Blog author continue to lie and distort and pretend to tell an objective truth, then I will be here to set the record straight and tell the whole truth. Every time they follow with a "nudge", I'll be here to "push" back!

As someone who was raised Catholic, in a big-a$$, blue collar Catholic Family, who went to church every stinking day--not kidding--I assure you, dear sir, that neither does the Catholic Church.

I don't want to restrain you - I just do not want to preached at everytime you post. However, it is your right. So I will just skip the post when I see your name. We disagree and you will not change my opinion and I will not change your opinion.

I still maintain that Irish has mental problems (at least as far as how he comes across). Granted this is most likely a failure of the Internet and he's just not understanding how it comes across, but if he really acts this way in person then, like I said last time, he reminds me of my schizophrenic father. He jumps from subject to subject, rails on the same subject again and again to the point that it doesn't make sense, he openly contradicts himself, he spews out words and in particular is ludicrously emotional when he posts in comparison to the issue he's talking about, he's overly sensitive to criticism, etc. The non-sequitur way of his posting is the part that disturbs me the most. Normal people don't jump from subject to subject without there being any correlation. He's making the if you say orange I automatically conclude tiger leap of logic that only exists in the mind of schizophrenics. GRANTED that it's likely just because he's so furious! furious I say! when he's posting at us st00pid liberals that he's just not paying attention, but it comes across like woa dude you need help. He and Shooter seem to have problems with that.

Sorry to be the one to tell you all this but there is only one explanation for these poll results. Uninformed IGNORANCE. These are the same people who yell about no government take over of healthcare and hands off medicare. IGNORANT people who watch way too much FOX news and listen to right wing radio. A sad reality in our country.
