Given the breaking news that opened the program. Embassys attacked, an American killed....
Bush attended his briefings, commented (stupidly) and did nothing.
Obama reads his briefings and.......? The world waits......
That was some Spring, huh.
If Willard doesn't want us to fight another 'war of independence for another country,' then why the hell does he want us to get involved in Iran??? He is flip flopping on foreign policy now. He will have to start a war, if elected, so his neo-con buddies can go cash in on their Haliburton stock.......
It seems Terry Jones is doing his damnedest to out-Westboro the Westboro Baptist Church for most hated human in America.
I hope the Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices knock down that state's idiotic voter ID law on Thursday, but someone ought to be asking what's wrong with the Democrats' ground game when one million people still don't have the required ID.
This law has been on the books for months. Democrats should have been going door-to-door in inner city Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and coming through their voter rolls to identify and check with Democrats around the state.
Come on, guys. Let's get with it. Time is running out. You can't count on the courts.
You can't do 700,000 IDs in a couple months. PA doesn't have that many DMVs or DMV workers to handle the extra load.
Sure PennDot couldn't handle the load, but if the Democrats had jumped on this on Day One they could have choked PennDot into submission. Every hour spent on voter ID is an hour they couldn't process Drivers licenses. Pennsylvania has a separated system where vehicle titles and registrations are handled by private agents, while the Drivers Licenses and state IDs are issued by state employees in stae offices. Since you can do it in any office, I'd have used buses to day trip Democrat seniors into Republican area offices, to prevent those who wish disenfranchisement to be unable to re new their own DL's. Oh Lord what a wasted opportunity !
Good thinking, bacon331, it would have been great guerrilla theater, and spokespeople for each group would have had another great opportunity to tell the media what was happening and why. I wish you'd brought this up to civil rights groups when the laws were first enacted, if you'd thought of it back then.
Where's that time machine when we need it?
See, here's the thing Irish, I'm about seventy IQ points above you, so your silly word-salad insult just makes me feel sorry for you and everyone who has to deal with your borderline-retarded self.
Please, stop posting. You're just embarrassing yourself.
Well Sir, may I suggest you can keep your 70% IQ ratio and the haughty arrogant swagger that goes with it. To me it just rings of elitist snobbery. But I will be delicate here with you. I am quite certain my friends would much rather the person I am than if I ever give the impression that I expose myself such as you do, being so full of yourself to the point that there is no room for anything more to be added. Must be grand to be such a perfect human intellect. I rather find your attitude of the more "embarrassing nature".
Besides, I do quite well playing Madden 13 without the extra 70% IQ level. Run the ball like a master. So I am not concerned about my current status here, there is plenty of fault to go around. But your disconcerting air I do find quite unappealing at times. Perhaps one could use a lesson in humility, hummmmmm? There's many a "border line retard" I'd rather be in the same room with, rather than You.
Now, what kind of dressing will you have on that "word salad" oh Brilliant Sir?
hahahahahahaha
The new version of Madden 13 is harder to beat don't you agree?
Yes Angel#77 I think Madden 13 is more difficult in that with the new Inifinity Engine the developers are just beginning on a venture into capturing a more "real" experience for the gamer. With that, they have some work to do. The first update since release day came yesterday and I am finding that makes a possitive difference. I believe the new "Stumble and Rumble" I think they call it makes running more difficult because the AI intentionally has your own players fall to the ground thus creating a blockage/stoppage or unrecoverable situation for your own running back. As though EA actually artificially creates these sequences in order to disrupt the players/users ability to progress. All that said, the graphics are average similar to last yrs version and the game play still needs tweaking. The CPU throwing bombs all game are ridicuous that and the users defensive backs lack of ability to create or sustain proper covereage leaves a ton to be desired. Hopefully an upcoming patch will address such issues. I have always been one who fine tunes sliders in order to get the game to reflect a more natural and even flow. More real to life. Right now I am confortable playing on All-Pro and as I said have a decent amount of success running the ball. Besides the "locked annimations" which have always affected Madden games produced by EA Sports, I find the game enjoyable, relaxing and fun to play. I play the CPU when alone but can't wait to get together with my two sons, 38 and 36 and my two grandsons 15 and 10 when we all play Madden all day and all night. My oldest and I staying up to wee hours of the morning after all have goone to bed as we're the experienced late night devotees. Anyway, to answer your question, yes its' more difficult but fun as all get out. Of note, as you may see my addresses here I'm extremely meticuous about detail.(ie, a defined accurate and no nonsense absolutist when it comes to catholic teaching, NO errors only the true authentic teachings of the church) So for me the rosters have to be exact and error free. Thus when I get the game, as has been the case the last 7 years, at EBGames at the midnight release the first thing I do is edit, create and adjust the rosters to be flawless and pefect. Just a thing with me and detail.
EA Sports, It's in the Game".
I'm so glad Rachel had Michael Lewis on tonight. I'd seen tweets about his article today, but went to read it after the show. Extraordinary portrait of this President! No one else could ever govern with this level of energy and integrity! What a pure, unadulterated thrill to view the President through Lewis' eyes. What a privilege for him to experience and for us to read. I do hope there's also a book in there somewhere; I'd love to read it. Well done, Michael Lewis! This should be required reading in every history and civics class in the country (although it won't be).
Here's the Vanity Fair link: http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/2012/10/michael-lewis-profile-barack-obama?mbid=social_retweet And, just for fun, here's a link to a photo of the Truman balcony, the President's favorite place (as quoted by Lewis): http://www.whitehousemuseum.org/floor2/truman-balcony.htm
What worries me is that during 9/11 Bin Laden vowed he would use ways and means to infiltrate the U.S. that we have never heard of before, from the inside. It concerns me because our Country is being led astray by money. What used to be an election is now turning out to be an auction. We have no idea where all this money is actually coming from, it could be coming from the Taliban and we would have no way of knowing that. Just the knowledge of Republicans campaigning for someone, who we know so little about is worrisome. The last thing this Country needs right now is someone who has so many secrets and is receiving secret donations. While the Right are distracting us with Birther nonsense, they are supporting a mystery man who either won't explain his policies or changes them at the drop of a dime. We shouldn't let our guard down, and even the Republicans should no better than to elect someone they know nothing about. 9/11 wasn't just a play with numbers it happened and we should pay attention to numbers, especially large numbers being donated....no questions asked. First Americans need to wake up from the shock of terrorism and then we need to stay awake.
Can your think of anything worse than a Etch A Sketch president leading our military. He's not fit to lead this country. This country will be destroyed if we have another president like baby Bush. The republicans are good at winning elections by bad at leading.
The incidents of Jim Cramer's tweets reveals something. The Pa. authorities suddenly stop worrying about voter fraud when it makes them look bad (Cramer's case) or it might mitigate how bad they already look (they gave a card to the lead plaintiff in thePa. state challenge).
When it suits their purposes, they make voting difficult (Thanks, Mike Turzai, for your candor, if not your venom). BUT, when it suits their purposes, they make voting easier. Just like Mitt saying something and then saying the opposite when it suits him, they do one thing and then do the opposite when it suits them.
The Republican Suprem Court the biggest threat to American Democracy. They appointed a President and refused to count the vote. They support PAC money that can defeat small town Reps. with negative adds, causing a change in the house majority. If a state can not count there votes or if a state keeps people from voting the states electorial votes should not count.
The American people did not speak last election, PAC money spoke and this elections yhis year is going to be no different. The Democratic party needs to learn how to use their PAC money to take out the weakest Republicans. It's a chess game and we need to learn how to play and beat the opposing party.
