Today's installment of campaign-related news items that won't necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* Priorities USA Action, a Democratic super PAC, continues to hit Mitt Romney over the middle class, and this new spot is set to air in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
* Speaking of Wisconsin, Public Policy Polling shows President Obama with the narrowest of leads over Romney in the Badger State, 49% to 48%. The same poll shows Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D) with a three-point lead over former Gov. Tommy Thompson (R) in the U.S. Senate race, 48% to 45%.
* With the third poll this week showing Elizabeth Warren (D) taking the lead over Sen. Scott Brown (R) in Massachusetts, it seems clear Warren has the momentum.
* Speaking of Massachusetts, two new polls show Romney getting crushed in the state where he served one term as governor.
* In Virginia's closely-watched Senate race, PPP shows Tim Kaine (D) with a one-point lead over George Allen (R), 47% to 46%.
* In Indiana, Sen. Richard Lugar will not campaign for Richard Mourdock, the man who defeated him in a Republican primary earlier this year.
* Karl Rove's American Crossroads is making another $10 million investment in the election cycle, this time in support of Republican U.S. House candidates.
* In Missouri, Rep. Todd Akin (R), the controversial Senate candidate, has launched a "Women for Akin" initiative. Good luck with that.
* And a Latino Decisions poll released yesterday shows Obama leading Romney among Latino voters by 42 points, 68% to 26%.

Rove throwing millions into a sinking ship instead of using his money to invest in the country, it's obscene. If this isn't a case of squishing the little guy, showing true colors, blatent ignorance... it's all just too disgusting.
You can't even embarrass these people, they have no shame.
Who knows more about Romney's abilities at governing than the people of Massachustts?
When two out of every three say that he stinks, then you can be fairly sure that Mr. Romney's governing abilities resemble the lagoon under a pig house.
If perchance the teapubs get hit hard this election and the ball goes to the dimwit dems, let's hope they don't blow it like they did in 2010. And let's hope the teapubs reorganize themselves into a respectable party again or organize into another party and get rid of the wackos, teabaggers, liars, and rich that buy it all. That will probably take about ten years and hopefully by then this country will be on the correct path to be not only the greatest country in the world but number one in the world again in education and opportunity and health.
No fear, I am sure the Kochs can hire more tea nuts to ride their bus.
Like Romney, Brown pretended to be moderate and independent in order to get elected.
The people of Massachusetts saw through Romney after they elected him. They've only had 2 years of Scott, but it appears they are wising up to him as well.
Go, Lizbet!
Time marches on as we remember citizens united,anti-contraception legislation,Ryan's personhood amendment, voter suppressio, the deregulation of the Bush years and its results, anti-gay legislation, the attempt at forcing religion into the government and so forth.
See you in November.
This election will be about down ticket races, not Mitt Rmoney and Paul Rayn as pointed ot by MSNBC talkers, the ONLY ECM (Electronic Counter Measures) is to use the ground troops effectively. Get out the vote, and get people registered.
Don't underestimate the ability of Republican voter suppression and other assorted ways to depress the Democratic vote!
Women for Akin has 2 members - his wife and his mother (at least until they find out he signed them up).
Sheesh, what's next? Dogs for Vick? Unions for Walker? Teachers for Emanuel?
It's no surprise Elizabeth "Cherokee Princess" Warren is moving ahead and will probably win. New Englanders love their white racists, so long as their racism is directed toward Native Americans.
First there was the Racist "Dick" Blumenthall in Conn. How do I know he is a Racist?
http://indiancountrytodaymedianetwork.com/ictarchives/2010/01/11/%E2%80%98enemy-of-sovereignty%E2%80%99-to-seek-us-senate-seat-81892
Continuing the 20th Century genocidal policies of the Amerikkkan government, termination and land-confiscation, are about as Racist as you can get.
Now we have Princess Warren who, as I've documented several times, is a liar, fraudster, and Racist, who has used an undocumented Native identity to boost her climb up the social and academic network, but who let it disappear when she actually began campaigning: the people of Mass. would never elect a REAL Indian!!
So New England is about to put a second openly Racist person in the Senate. Wow! Even down South, they don't put openly Racist whites in the Senate (remember Trent Lott?). New England is about to become famous for electing more openly Racist Senators than any other region in the U.S.A.
Come on Ga., Ala., Miss., get those white dresses out of the closet. You're losing the Racist race!!
Angeleno213, you haven't been taking your medications as you're supposed to, have you?
That the link takes one to a story that predates the 2010 elections. There is, literally, nothing in that story that is connected to Elizabeth Warren.
Now, if you wish to provide proof that Elizabeth Warren claimed Native American ancestry to advance her social and academic life, please feel free to so do. You know, things such as letters to friends and acquaintances where she bragged about her ancestry. Or academic papers by her emphasizing her ancestry, as opposed to, say, what the papers were actually about.
Enjoy.
Teaching people to read is a life-long endeavor. The story verified that "Dick" Blumenthal is a Racist, backing up the assertion I made in the text immediately before it, and clearly linked to it.
And encouraging people to engage in felony theft, felony breaking and entering, and felony violation of copyright law is not the way to enhance a just, law-abiding society.
Princess Warren has admitted including her fantasy ancestry in her cv, and letting Harvard included it in her university biography. I'll take her word for it.
Princess Warren asserted, as accurately reported, therefore Princess Warren must prove. It's called Logic. Learn something about it, too.
