* AFSCME, a leading labor union, has unveiled three new videos featuring public-service workers with jobs near one of Mitt Romney's homes. This one introduces Temo Fuentes, who repairs fire trucks.
* In national polling, there are plenty of results to choose from. NBC has President Obama up by three points among likely voters, 49% to 46%; NPR shows Obama up by seven, 51% to 44%; and National Journal shows Obama and Romney tied at 47% each.
* In Florida, NBC shows Obama up by one point, 47% to 46%, while a Suffolk poll shows Obama ahead by three, 46% to 43%.
* In Ohio, NBC shows Obama's lead reaching seven points, 51% to 43%.
* In Virginia, NBC puts Obama ahead by only two, 48% to 46%, while a Roanoke College poll shows the president leading by eight, 47% to 39%.
* In New Hampshire, Public Policy Polling shows Obama ahead by seven, 51% to 44%.
* Priorities USA Action, a pro-Obama super PAC, is shifting its focus away from Wisconsin and Florida, and investing more heavily in Colorado, Iowa, Nevada, and Virginia.
* And CNN's latest poll of Latino voters shows Obama leading Romney by a huge margin, 70% to 26%.

I wonder why Mitt is not trying to organize volunteer fire departments and neighborhood watches in his neighborhoods to replace those pesky union types. After all shouldn't he be fiscally responsible like he wants us peons to be?
Volunteer fire departments are common in many US states, and they're a long time tradition. As fire protection is a federal responsibility only on federal land, why shouldn't the states organize it as they individually wish?

The Susan B Anthony List has prepared an interesting ad which obviously attacks President Obama. The ad has been featured on all of the Fox news programs, so it's probably a lie. Why don't you run the ad and bring in a few Obama administration official and even "Medical Ethics" professor Reagan to explain how unfair to Obama the ad is. Surely, it's misrepresenting Obama's position.

The anti-Obama claims made in this video are old, stale news. These claims relate to Obama's votes against "born alive" bills in the Illinois state legislature in 2001 and 2002. Ample discussion of this matter has been posed online from both conservative and liberal perspectives.
This video is in the same league with Hannity's "sensational discovery" that Obama liked Jeremiah Wright.

I am amazed this race is even close. I predict Obama will win in a landslide unless the GOP's election fraud and voter suppression tactics prevent it. Republican's are notorious for trying to steal elections. Remember "caging" which took a court order to stop the GOP from doing this, yet they are doing it again. Rev Wright has been angry for years because of the discrimination toward minorities. I don't blame him; he has a right to speak... right republicans? And with the 30% of people that Ryan said they aren't pursuing the American dream is because the 30% have been discriminated to the point that they don't have that ambition anymore. So all the predictions about Romney's doom seem to have been a bit premature. Last night was the proverbial "October Surprise". The reason everyone is surprised at how well Romney did in the debates is because they have been listening to MSM's interpretation of who he is and what he believes. Last night Romney had his first opportunity to talk directly to the American people so they could see for themselves and make their own judgement. I have to say the same for Obama - he opted not to show up and instead sent in the empty chair.....
