Folks, we're on live tonight at 8 Eastern for coverage of the first presidential debate. The debate starts at 9 Eastern, but you'll want to be ready before that. And to help with that, Bob Staake, a genius of children's books and New Yorker covers, posted a Presidential Debate Lingo (bingo) set (click for full-size version).

Exceptionally awesome!
I can just see a whole "family hour" building up around something like this. Seems right on par with "slug bug"!
I think if someone did a Wordie on one of Romney's recent "hey I'm a compassionate guy too" speeches, there would be a good bingo card for the terms Romney will use.
Far be it for me to remark on poor spelling, but on the first card there is a typo. It is Ann, not Anne Romney.
I am wondering, is this going to be another blowout ratings victory for MSNBC? Colbert was parodying the assessment of the likely voter measurement that the pollsters use . I wonder if the bulk of tonights viewers like me have reached the status of psychotically engaged (screenshot in this article). Hmm. Guess I should switch my picture....
National Journal has the traditional drinking game up. I'm concerned, though. They've got so many gimmes in the take a shot category and the take two shots category that either nobody is going to make it to the end or there's going to be a spike in emergency room visits for alcohol poisoning.
Sample:
1-Drink Events
2-Drink Events
This is only a sample and contains no three drink triggers.
Well it beats the GW State of the Union game...Everytime he said "EvilDooer', Terror, or Freedom" you had to take a shot. I'm still hungover.
Yeah, I really miss those pretty 5-color "fear" charts they threw in our faces 24/7...
Is there any coincidence to the center, left-to-right words on that first card? LOL
Wish I had a Debate Party to go to... It could be fun.
This will be fun! Alternative to drinking game, as I can't pound down that many drinks any more. Maybe just on the corners, I'll take a drink.
Better make it soft drinks, Bain, investments, and 47% are in the corners. :)
Yeah, I've got some diet soda in the fridge. Or just take a sip from a Bud Light each corner. But four cards, four corners, repetion… I can't handle that much alcohol in 90 minutes… I won't be driving, though.
Serious question...does "arithmetic" count the same as "math?"
Ok, so it wasn't actually serious after all.
Can anyone else already hear the responses in which most, if not all of these, will be used in already?
I hope not!
Lower-left is a total loser. Nobody is gonna mention Palestine.
Romney will right after he mentions Iran, Nuclear and Israel, and some magical link to Domestic Policy.
Wonder if Romney will wear his "mom jean's" and Cosco shirt tonight to show he's really with the middle class.Sure hope the host ask's him what he consider's a good paying job, since he consider's $250k per yr. to be the middle class. And then ask him if he's going to create 12 million $250k in four yrs.
Hey, tight jeans don't fit very well over those "garments".
Why no more post show on FB of msnbc like rachel M. Laurence, the ed.....??????????????????? :((
The 2007 video of Obama is a good video. I like it very much. A rigth to free speech is everyones right
I love this I am sharing it with everybody at work!
I checked a few times, and I might have missed it, but where is 'DEBT'?
Would having that ruin the whole debate LINGO game?
Even better cards available From WNYC at:

I'd rather play the drinking game.
Love the Lingo Cards Rachael... can't wait for the rumble to start, I got my money on The Prez...
You forgot "Make No Mistake." What "Resolve" was to Bush, "Make No Mistake" is to Obama.

What? No points for "zingers"?
Romney is behind and is going to be aggressive tonight, he has a lot to loose. If he does poorly I agree with political analysts that his donors will start distancing themselves from him and go to the Senate races to try and get control of both the House and the Senate.
Um, where's "abortion?"
Epic. I will force my daughters to play and expose them to the silliness of modern American political discourse... [evil cackle]
This is going to be a "cover all", right? Lol! Great! Thank you.
Passing them out at work now!
Too bad it is bingo because I was going to take Obamacare for the Daily Double.
