Washington Post-ABC News poll shows a dead heat in presidential race. Essentially unchanged from before the debate.
Obama and Romney campaign agree: no follow-up questions at the debate! CNN's Candy Crowley says she'll probably ask them anyway.
A U.S. military judge will weigh whether to allow torture testimony during the 9/11 trial.
Nobel Prize in economics goes to two American economists for “for the theory of stable allocations and the practice of market design.”

With no follow-up questions this debate can end up as campaign ads without substance.
Go Candy! Ask the question if she chooses, the first that refuses - loses.
Republicans decide the time is right to eliminate the pretense and call for self-segragtion to go along with self-deportation.
"The Unraveling of Affirmative Action"
"The most encouraging part of this research is the parallel finding that these same students have dramatically better outcomes if they go to schools where their level of academic preparation is much closer to that of the median student. That is, black and Hispanic students — as well as the smaller numbers of preferentially admitted athletes and children of donors — excel when they avoid the problem of what has come to be called ‘mismatch.’ ”

(no word yet on the rumor that the GOP is going to mandate that Afrikaans be taught in our schools)
It's really stunning that after everything Obama has achieved for the country, people would even consider voting for a retired corporate raider who was in the business of outsourcing American jobs, who served a mediocre term as governor, and whose entire campaign has been a Romneyshambles of intentional lies, deceptions, missteps and disgraceful displays, and further, who has surrounded himself with Bush-era leftovers who will triple-down on disastrous Bush-era policies. Ain't that America.
Brian washed they are glued to bias FOX or just plain without substance thinking
they say ignorance is bliss.. But is it??
Thi is why Romeny's plan to arm Syrian rebels reminds me of Afghannistan circa 1984:

A post-it note from the the presidential bedside at the debate site:
"You can't look presidential while getting beat up.
Interrupt this cat when he goes on a string of denials, embellishments, half-truths, and lies.
And for god's sakes, stop saying how the two of us are similar."
Willard's roots have shaped his flake persona.....

A fascinating portrait of George Romney, and how his politics shaped the future of Willard. The apple has not fallen very far from the tree. I see why Willard learned to lie at an early age!
Hey, TRMS, MSNBC and election reporters in general, I'm curious;
On Election Night, when will early votes normally show up in the results as they arrive? I mean, will the first numbers the states release included all the early votes, or is it precinct-by-precinct with each precinct's votes mixed together?
(I forgot how it went in previous years. I keep meaning to tape those nights, but never have blank media set up and ready.)
Atlas flopped! Atlas Shrugged II came in tenth in this weekends box office receipts at the movies. It was supposed to be the new and improved version, and millions were supposed to go see it. It is a flop, and it represents Paul Ryan's bankrupt ideas; I see even Paul is running away from her in track shoes. American exceptionalism is fine; turning the nation over to a business, as Willard seems to want, is dangerous.
Just Voted!!!!! Can someone tell me why on the Georgia ballot for every office the incumbent is first and challengers are listed after them, except for President. Why is Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan before Barack Obama/Joe Biden? This doesn't even work if they were listing them alphabetically. Be careful folks!
Everything in California, every race, must be in alpha order.... Contact your sec. of state.....
Austerity in Europe is causing riots in Spain, Greece and France. Now the Scots want independence from the UK and wars between Northern and Southern Ireland seem eminent. The Flanders think they should have more authority over the Belgium government than other citizens. When you add all of this to the Arab Spring (which I believe was largely brought upon the world due to economic issues rather than social issues, then you need to ask yourselves why would anyone in the US want to impose austerity programs in the US.
The Tea Party/Romney/Ryan austerity programs are going to cause a loss of jobs - not job creation. Do we want a civil war in the US?
I wish you would have been asked to moderate.
