That gives me an idea, I have a fresh printer cartridge and heavy printer paper,
I'm going to make sheets stating:
HUSTED LOST, then put Fri, Sat and Sun voting hours.
Put them on the car and my Obama-Biden signs (that keep disappearing)
I better get to it.
PS: I wouldn't put anything on a window. law enforcement could nail you for impeding outward vision.
.
I've been driving with an Obama/Biden 2012 card in my window since March. No problems. It's tucked in the window below my sight line. Does not in any way impair my total view of traffic on any side, in back or in front. DO IT.
Go, Auntie! Awesome.
Much love to Aunt Cathy! That just rocks!
Just make sure Aunt Cathy doesn't let some good ol' boy erase the "NO" or change the 6 to a 7.
Undecided voters?
We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal...
The "Boston Teaparty" was an act committed by people who felt that taxation without representation was fundamentally wrong. Today, people calling themselves the "Teaparty" are, ironically, making a concerted effort to disenfranchise millions of American citizens. Their efforts are being funded and orchestrated by people with vast fortunes who feel they are entitled by Divine Right to rule over lesser creatures.
Sen. McCain; why would the countries in the middle east, or anywhere, listen to a president encouraging them to adopt a representative style of government after seeing him tacitly (if not actively) supporting attempts to deny his own citizens the right to vote?
Anyone named Bush or Akin; how are you going to convince the Taliban that a theocracy is inherently self destructive when you support efforts to deny women the right to make choices about their own health? Do you really think it is ok to shoot fourteen year-olds in the head because their world view is different than yours?
Undecideds? How can anyone be undecided?
Theocracy is bad, dysfunctional and doomed to failure so lets bring Christianity into our Government.
Disenfranchisement is horribly wrong so lets take the power from the voter and turn all the power over to those who already hold most of the power.
From inside the diseased mind it all looks normal.
.
You have an awesome Aunt, Laura. I can see where your bona fides come from.
That's what I call courage and integrity!
Way to take a stand!
The message goes nicely with the Episcopal Church sticker. :) Yea for a sane denomination!
Rachel,
Did you notice that the billboards in Ohio and Wisconsin on tonight's program were courtesy of Clear Channel Communications, a company that Bain Capital took public and is probably still associated with? Check it out.
I live in Harrison County, one of the red counties of Mississippi (unlike Rankin, one of our few blue counties). But it's not one of the strongest red counties in the state. What's interesting is that I never see the Democrat poll workers on general election day; they're only there for the primaries. It's always the Republican poll workers, some of whom I know personally. So I can hang out for a while talking to them and not get pegged as a poll watcher. I might try that this year and see if they ask anyone for ID.
PS—Nevermind, Rankin is a red county. I mixed it up with Hinds, the blue county of the Jackson area.
Hey - Aunt Kathy! I noticed the Episcopal shield! Yay! Double win! :)
is that soap or a marker or what?
