This ad was paid for by the Pa. Dept. of State! It's not only illogical, it's deliberately MISLEADING. We're now learning that state issued voter ID cards in Arizona list the wrong election date in Spanish, but not in English!!! I see patterns of criminal voter fraud behavior. No wonder that buffoon Issa is trying to sidetrack Attorney General Holder.
i would like, very much, to see one of those arizona cards or a link to one.
if true, it's the story of the season.
issa isn't trying to sidetrack holder. he's daring him.

I really have to stop watching you show. Watching it and looking at the polls makes me loose faith in your country. I try to tell myself that it's not important, but what if Romney asks my dear chancelor Merkel if she would like to play war with him in Iran? She was quite fond of getting into Iraque with Mr. Bush, not because of WMD, by the way, but because it's tradition. And looking at Romney's economic... plan? As far as you can call it that, it spells bad news for our economy here, too. And all of that combined with the polls is a bad start in the morning. But it's such a great show:(
Look on the bright side. With Romney in charge and a republican congress we will become to poor to sustain a war. The real agenda is to bankrupt the world so the wealthy can once again go on a buying spree!
How much for you country?
I really do think that the republican plan is to run up the debt so in the end they can eliminate social programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
this stuff is funnier than comic shows...
Mr. Campbell, we're already too poor for war. In fact, we were too poor for it in 2003 when we chased Bush's ghost into Iraq. But it doesn't matter. Remember, money doesn't actually exist. It's just a theoretical concept that we all agree on, but it's value changes every day so it's a loose agreement at best. Also, even if it did exist, we didn't use it in 2003. We didn't have it to use, didn't put it on the books, therefore, it didn't matter. Will it matter to future generatons? Look in our rear view mirror....
If money doesn't actually exist now, why would it exist for future generations? I'm not following the reasoning.
I think it's more like a contractual document. I'll give you this many dollars or euros, or whatever currency you want, for a specific amount of goods and services. But we can create or destroy money or it's form anytime we want. Before the euro, there were all those different European currencies. Then the whole world just got together and said "OK, we'll now accept this thing that you're going to call the euro, and we'll begin by rating it at this many dollars." Of course, it fluctuates like all currencies, but it's not needed any more than the dollar is needed if countries decide to do without. Governments do lots of things with money that they don't have. So how do they do them? With theoretical money.
This needs to reach more people. A Simpson's episode, 60Minutes, CSI Romneylies, a prime time Oprah women's rights ad, Survivor Tar sands or Are You Smarter Than a Rove Ad, might wake some of the mindless.
Brains-they aren't just for breakfast?
As Andrea Mitchell too politely points out, Sen Hutchinson is either suffering from Romnesia or straight out lying about the Blunt amendment. The choice is between awful and loathsome, assuming that patent dishonesty is not a symptom of Romnesia, which does appear to be contagious.
i am shocked that senator hutchinson could look in the camera and not know what she is talking about, how could she not know what this all means or is she just plain to old to understand what she is saying.
The "new" Republicans DO NOT CARE what comes out of their mouths. They have learned that lying to the American public is the way to get votes!
When the American public did nothing about the lying ads they see every day, and yet STILL buy the products advertised, the Republicans learned a great deal about how the "average" American behaves - and they are using it!!
When Bush and Cheney LIED about his reasons for going to war in Iraq and the people in this country still voted for them in 2004, the Republicans took note and made it their modus operandi!
It is obvious that the people in the US don't care what the candidates say, they just want to see a "fist fight" and the winner will get the vote!!
I think the scary thing about the Blunt amendment is this: it starts us on a very slippery slope to the eradication of all health care benefits. It can start with contraception based on an organizations 'religious beliefs' (BTW, since when do corporations have stated religious beliefs?). But it would quickly move to other aspects of health care. There are some mythologies that don't believe in innoculation. Hey! Our company just decided that we don't either. So no flu shots for you! Other mythologies don't believe in operating on the human body. Well, there's a convenient way to get out of major medical support! In fact, lets just take the stance that we believe that whatever happens to you is the will of our deity (you know, the one that we just made up). So whatever happens to you, good luck with that.
By the way, have you seen our bottom line since we stopped subsidizing health care for our employees? Looks great!
Sounds crazy and conspiritorial, I know. But if I had told you that there would be an all out attack on voting rights, when would you have believed me?
You nailed it, oncearepublican. The party of business adopted its strategy from business, because it works. Unfortunately, the bottom line is that we're getting what we deserve from our collective sheep-like behavior.
I just went over to the UP with Chris Hayes blog to see who his guests were this morning and yep NBCUniversal has shut him down too!! There is NOWHERE on that page to find out what he'll be talking about today and all the stories on that page are OLD!!! The format for posting is only conducive to "hit and run" posting, not the thoughtful posts that used to be on that blog!!
Unfortunately most of us don't care for that "FoxNation" format and won't be posting. I guess NBCUniversal figured that if the trolls wouldn't scare us away, they will do it themselves!!!
NBCUniversal is DETERMINED to shut down the liberal voice, aren't they?
Thank You Staff Sgt Wilis for your service and yes, Go Big Blue.

Google Hart intercivic for interesting information about Ohio voting machines.
Hi, i was watching the news today and that girl named Mercedes Schlapp didn't understand the question about the Latino issue. too bad she said she's a Latina., i think the Republican Party needs to send her back to school and re-hire her again later as a RNC Surrogate.
Hi Rachel,
I think you should really try to get Rose Ann DeMoro on your show for an in depth discussion of health care and health policy. While I would love to come on to discuss the public utility option for health care, the AHA wouldn't like it. She can discuss thesingle payer option with great eloquence.
Dr. John Silver
All the agonizing that the Rachel Maddow show and other pundits Do over the serial flip flopping of MItt Romney is a waste of valuable airtime and stress. Their inability to reject political correctness and remove their filtering glasses that say that they can't look at the effect of one’s religion in a person's life has resulted in probably 100 hours of wasted air time agonizing why MIT Romney says one thing one minute and another thing another minute. They're not going to see anything Throught the pathetically small prism of their secular background that fails to comprehend that there are people on this earth for whom their religion is the center of their world. Mormonism is the center of MItt Romney’s life. It rules his life. He s a Bishop in the Mormon church for years. He has moremen meetings twice every week. He gives 10% of hse income to the Mormon church. The history channel recently aired a show: "Ten things that you didn't know about mormonism". That included that they are the largest landowner in Las Vegas . This church that condemns gambling Is the landlord for some of the biggest gambling casinos on the planet. The Mormon church is $30 billion corporation. Romney's first 2nd cousin Park Romney who used to be in the inner circles of the church was interviewed for a documentary (also recently aired) called 'the Mormon candidate' and said "The leadership of the church deceives its members for the purpose of making them exploitable." The documentary goes on to the show as people who had contact with the Mormon church know that the Mormon church is a dictatorship that imposes its views on its members with serious and destructive consequences if they don’t accept it without question. When Romney was sent on his mission, he had to be trained in verbal techniques to keep the other party engaged in a conversation when they didn't wanted change their religion and and they wanted to send the young man out the door. One of those techniques is to always make it sound like you agree with the the position of the homeowner ( Questioner, popular position In the polls) whatever it is even if that means that you have to change your position even in the same conversation. In other words say whatever you need to say to them to make a sale regardless of how Dishonest, misleading, inconsistent or false It is Or whether you believe in it or don't believe in it. do you need to know any more ? also women are secondary and subservient in the Mormon church. Romney isn't running for president ; the Mormon church is. On the Front Line documentary (a third recent documentary that the pundits with the exception of the Ed Shultz don’t have the courage or journalistic integrity to talk about ) an elder in the church said that having a PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES who was Mormon would take them a long way to their stated mission of establishing the kingdom of heaven on her earth (Theocracy). They already have the MAJORITY LEADER OF THE SENATE and the former CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. Take your politically correct glasses off Rachel and wake up.
That included that they are the largest landowner in Las Vegas .
I live in Las Vegas and that's total BS.
Nice try though!!!
I think the Blount Amendment should already be dead in the water. A Missouri District Court Judge (a conservative Bush appointee) dismissed Frank O'Brien and OIH's (his company) claim that his rights to manage his company with his religious beliefs extended to his ability to deny contraceptive coverage in the company health plan to women who worked for him.
The Missouri Circuit Court took this tool to task, and absolutely contradicted every one of his claims.
To start with, compensation is compensation. If a company pays an employee money, who then buys a health plan that covers contraception, that company has no right or ability to deny that employee their choice to choose contraceptive coverage.
Similarly, if a company negotiates with a health plan, which reduces the overall compensation that the employees receive by reducing the cost of the health plan, it's the same thing. The health plan is still compensation, and the company or employer has no right to claim religious exemption to deny access to their employees ability to access contraception in the health plan. It makes no difference if the employee pays for all their benefits in the health plan, or if the company contributes to the health plan. It's still compensation, and the company cannot discriminate against women by denying contraception coverage in the health plan.
The court furthermore goes on to say that other First Amendment claims by the plaintiff were basically null and void, including something called excessive entanglements. Basically, if this plaintiff could dispute the ACA on their religious or moral objections, what other organizations would do the same.
I sure wish every progressive or liberal would get this out so everyone who has to have this argument with those who would try to use religious or moral objections to employee benefits to be able to shoot them down quickly.
