Hee hee! Drop some knowledge in her pants? Depends on whether they're tight hipster pants, whether there is room to drop anything... um, significant.
Or rather, it just Depends.
Which reminds me of a lyric from a country western song my mom used to sing, and I would mis-hear, when I was a kid (it always sent me into a bout of the giggles).
Barbi Benton. The song is "Brass Buckles." I'm surprised Bill hasn't used it as the soundtrack for his preview yet.
"... at twelve she was filling up her jeans."
Depends? Depends? Yes she will NEED to be wearing Depends when Romney becomes the 45th President of these United States!!!!!

Oh look, it's the Department of Redundancy Department!
Dear Rachel,
During your discussion of the impact of the overthrow of Roe v. Wade,
you brought up the very important point of who gets to decide – and when – that
rape has occurred; this is an issue that directly impacts the women involved in
these situations.
A question that should also be addressed directly affects men: if the
woman must claim rape as reason for needing an abortion, then she is reporting a
criminal (currently classed as a Part 1 Crime in police agencies’ annual crimes
reports, along with homicide, robbery and other egregious crimes).
When someone reports a felony, a police report, at the very least, is
required; the victim must give all details of the crime, including any
identification information she knows about the perpetrator. That means she must name names or give a
detailed description of her rapist.
Naming a perpetrator puts men at risk for prosecution.
This also encourages desperate women to make false accusations and this
ultimately impeaches the veracity of those victims actually raped because of
the ultimate rise of those false accusations becoming part of the judicial
record.
In other words, going back to requiring rape as a reason for abortion:
1) effectively puts men in legal jeopardy (even
if they are acquitted in the end by DNA (or other) evidence; and
2) jeopardizes the credibility of actual rape victims,
both in court, but more importantly, in an already skeptical society; and
3) puts women in jeopardy of prosecution for
False Report of a Crime
Can this point be addressed in your forum?
Sincerely,
Donna Lynn Reynolds
Maybe guys will think twice when the women say "no". That is exactly why it is a womens' choice, not some perverted beaurocrat who gets his kicks from controlling women and telling them what to do. Free spirits only nest where they're wanted. That is why there is no life lost in an unborn fetus. Physically yes, spiritually never. You're either in or you're out. You're either coming or going. Sometimes you do have to go backwards in order to move forward, but not in the case of women's rights. And certainly not in the case of human rights. We've all made mistakes, our number 1 mistake right now is the violence we allow to enter into our homes. We need to stop feeding the Monster of violence, especially to our children. We've had enough.
Another factor you missed was that in many populous cities (like here in Houston), our crime labs have a BACKLOG of rape cases going back YEARS that have yet gone to trial. THOUSANDS of rape kits that haven't even been TESTED that could identify the rapists that continue to walk free for YEARS.
So, if they can't even process the rape kits or go to trial for YEARS, what's to suddenly speed up the process so that an abortion for rape could be obtained in a timely manner? Doesn't it sound like an ENORMOUS potential loophole for Pro-Life groups (or Pro-Life judges) to STALL or DELAY rape cases until an abortion is no longer feasible?
Years ago, I saw a great movie called "The Handmaid's Tale" (1990). It was based on a Margaret Atwood novel of the same name & it starred the late, great actress Natasha Richardson. The film showed what America will look like if it becomes a theocracy ruled by a Christian Taliban.
Two weeks from now, when Americans go to the polls, we'll be selecting a president and deciding our fate. That's because, whether we know it or not, we'll also be choosing a Supreme Court.
We'll be deciding the fate of the poor & the middle class. We'll be deciding if women have control over their own bodies. We'll be deciding if patriotic gay & lesbian Americans get to serve openly & honestly in the military.
We'll also be deciding if all Americans have access to affordable healthcare. And, if Big Oil will be allowed to secretly write America's energy policy, as they did under George W. Bush.
We'll be deciding if Wall Street, corporations & banks are properly regulated. And, if the same people who gave America 2 unfunded wars & a collapsing economy, will regain power just 4 years later. Romney has already surrounded himself with these same Bush "advisors."
But most importantly, we'll be deciding if republicans, who've been filibustering bills & sabotaging our economy (during a recession), are REWARDED for choosing party politics over the fate of the American people.
When Mitch McConnell swore that he'd do everything he could to ensure that Obama became a one-term president, we couldn't have realized that the GOP was willing to savage America & her returning veterans to achieve their goal.
It's something that I'll never forgive or forget. Will you?
The newest petition circulating from the Tea Party suggests that, if the Senate refuses to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act, the House should defund all spending bills. My way or no way at all. Yes, they are willing to bring the entire country to a crashing halt to get their way on this one issue. Even though roughly half the country supports it (or supports the candidate who proposed it).
I read "The Handmaid's Tale" and, at the time, I thought it could never happen here. *sigh*
Well said Mitt (never thot I'd say that!!)
I would like to address the latest in a long list of screw-ups from the republicans. They give big talk about what a woman should do with her body as well as what a small government they want. I see a problem here. I have been waiting a long time for someone to ask this question but no one not even the queen of political reporting (I bow to you my dear) Rachael Maddow has asked. If this is the biggest area that the government should control then, let's say this ridiculous argument that an embryo is a person persuades enough in congress that they pass a law banning all abortion unless the mother's life is in danger. Now what then? What happens to the financial care of this child? I have not heard one Republican stating that they are also willing to pass within such legislation a provision that takes care of this "person" for life. They say that it is not the fault of the child nor the fault of the mother, right? Then if she is forced to give birth then shouldn't their small government grow with her growing belly and take care of her while pregnant, pay for childcare when she has to work, save money for that kid's college, then those benefits transfer to the young adult once in college? Ask them that question instead and see how small their government becomes again!
That's why the subject is mute. It's all a diversion created by the Republicans, so they can get out of doing some actual work. The Congress, with Paul Ryan at the helm has done absoutely nothing. I want their job and their unearned, unappreciated paycheck, that all of us taxpayers have paid for. I want my money back, more important American citizens want their America back, the one the GOP is holding hostage. Shame on them, we oughta fire the whole lot of Republicans. Romney won't, but we should. Romney needs a psychiatrist., plain and simple. He needs to be President like we need another Bush.
Rachel,
Before the election would you consider the piossibility of discussing Paul Ryan as a possible president? I know that the country would very much care to know how our country would look like under his radical leadership. Thank you very much. I love your show and so the rest of my family. We are very proud of you! California here,
All the best,Brenda
OH! A whopping 4 people recommend links to your comments on 10/24. Impressive!!!! Mourdock didn't say "rape was God's will." He said, "life at conception was God's will." I accept you don't believe in God, bur do you understand the difference between conception and rape? You have my email.
To argue the difference between "conception and rape" in this case is wrong on it's face. It is an apples to oranges bit of emotional slight of hand that is being used to hide the true point it is trying to make about conception. It is nothing more than an attempt to reword "the ends justify the means" to make it seem innocuous and valid. Another version is "Mussolini made the trains run on time" a claim that was itself fascist propaganda.
I am fully aware of "Godwin's Law of the Internet" and I deliberately go out of my way not to violate it but in this case I feel it necessary and justified.
You people really need to understand 1 thing. God doesn't need you or anybody else to speak for him. He never did. He never asked you to, and he would appreciate it if you would stop doing it. He's plenty strong, we are the weak ones.
ryons bite you showed him saying "rape is another form of love". you missed it rachel
ryons comment in the bite you showed " rape is another form of love" you missed it rachel
if soon to be cardinal dolen of nyc how can he not endorse obama in good consience and speak up for the " uns " the poor. i am disappointed in the man
Defining rape or arguing health of mother are side shows in the circus of antichoice legislation. The only difference between Mourdock and Akin and the right wings position on abortion is one of admitting in public their actual position. R/R prefer stealth rather than publicity as they suppress women's rights. The gov't. both federal and state has no business legislating against 50% of the population's right to autonomy over their bodily functions. No religious belief should be imposed on anyone, period. No one has the right, credibility or moral authority to claim they speak for a god or in any way, the right to attempt to dictate an others right to make decisions best left to the beliefs and conscience of that other person's personal, spiritual or religious choices. Women are no longer property, men are guests in their world. Respect your invitation. There is lots of joy, love and acceptance there but do not abuse the privilege.

Pakistan favors Romney over Obama :)
They must be having the same polling problem we're having. They know that Romney is an ignoramis and they can walk all over him, unlike our strong leader President Obama.
i just looked up the term sociopath and ryon fits the discription rather scary

How many would be willing to give up their right to bear arms for an absolute ban on abortion?
No there's a plan! I also think that, if Congress "wants" (!) to consider a "personhood amendment" to the Constitution, it should contain provisions to outlaw all killing -- abortion, military action and capital punishment. Banning guns will work too.
Election fraud - why isn't it being reported? TRMS this is right up your alley...how about it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhBtfiRKaVY&feature=relmfu
Today on the campaign trail Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney described that the T Shirt the Romney Team were handing out that were made in America produced by a small business owned by a middle class family. Romney elaborated that the T Shirts were made from Rayon and Cotton.
Now that's a made up storyline by me. BUT what would msnbc report??
Romney uses "racist abusive language in saying his T Shirts are made from Cotton" Matthews quips, "Maybe Vice Prsident Biden was right, they DO want to put you-all back in chains" Andrea Mitchell comes on to "mumble" something, I can never understand her with that nasal speech defect she has. Lawrence O'Donnell calls all "socialists like me" into action. Professors Dyson and Harris Perry go ballistic with calling out the Romney people and republicans who are "ALL RACISTS" Maddow suggets that this is proof that the republicans are about to over throw "roe v Wade and we are gonna have a special debunction junction tonight" on my goofy looney tunes show.
TRMS Blog Author carries on all day with umpteen articles carrying the same nut case routine looney tunes.
That is standard msnbc news worthy reporting for any normal day.
You have entered the Twilight Zone of left wing nutcases. Enter, Ed Schultz to scream at you about all this same nutcase stuff that msnbc has made up.
hahahahahahahahaa
Pat I do hope you're making more than minimum wage for this. Do you get dental?
I don't know. All I know is that the crappy clothes that they expect us to wear comes mostly from China. Levis are made in VietNam. We have clothes coming in from every single country including Pakistan and India. Ask the Cat women on that reality show. I forget their name, their Father was an infamous lawyer in the O.J. case, the things you get famous for, what a pity, Kardashian. Ask them who slaves over making their cat women clothes. Womens' clothing has become really cheap and ugly. Ever since they started making them outside of the States. One thing was always certain, we used to be one of the leading Countrys in fashion, not anymore. thanks to Romney and friends. It's like The Brady bunch revisited only worst.
If that's how you feel, then why are you here, reading this?
Dragoon, no I am not a Union worker forced to work for the Liarwatha Warren campaign where they fine you for not partcipating. Man can ya' believe that? If it wasn't for Howie Carr on WRKO radio most folks wouldn't know that fact. But to answer your question, NO I am not a democratic hack who gets paid.
Have a great day!
Schultz comes on stage standing there wearing a Packers Cheese Head fans hat he does the "Discount Double Check Move", says: " This is proof that Ryan's budget seeks to put in prison all teachers firefighters and police officers and kill unions!!!!" "We've gotta stop these rightwing wackos" "Let's go to work" as he strides towards his desk.
We begin tonight with Vice Prsident Biden in OHIO saying things are bad HERE IN IOWA!
As Bill Murray would say in the SNL newsroom skits, Jane (TRMS) you ignorant "limbaugh word to describe Sandra Fluke" #@!&
And THAT is where YOU get your news?????
It was not Bill it was Dan Akroyd, you ignorant....
Hey you know you're right. Sorry Angel 77. My mistake. But ya' know, I don't think it merited a "You ignorant...." I liked Chevy Chase's President Ford skits too. Anyway, ......... thanks for the correction. I will try not be a "you ignorant..." again
hahahahahahahaha
I should of been paying closer attention, but wouldn't it have been President Boehner and Vice President Biden (not Romney/Biden)?
Rape is a CRIME. If you are robbed, you want your wallet back. If you are raped, you ought to be able to have your body back.
