I am a 67-year-old woman, so I was around in the “Madmen Days”. I personally experienced many of the negative slanders and actions against women during this period. Men had a saying back then and I heard it for many years from different men because it seemed to one they firmly believed in. It was, “Keep Them Barefoot and Pregnant”. This adverse outlook about the way men viewed women seems to be making a comeback by republican men. How tragic

Unfortunately for Leslie Gore as probably is the case for so many women in this video the stark reality is,...........Leslie Gore CAN'T get work anywhere and so many of the wonderful women in this video can't either because of Obama's failed economic policies.
Elect Mitt Romney so you CAN get a job and REALLY protect your body. With proper food and sustinace and real change. One that affords you opportunity in the real world. Minus all the props and candy ad appeal, this is a FAIL.

4 years Obama and I seem to be able to feed myself just fine thank you very much. I have a wonderful job, my healthcare is more affordable than ever and I won't have someone kicking my rights with his heels.
Also in the REAL world - you know where America isn't generally considered to be "heaven on earth" - people would vote for Obama, because they have seen enough of Republicans in the Bush years.

Republicans claim there is no war on women,

This election is in my opinion the most critical election we have faced in the last 50 years. We are on a fiscal cliff with national debt at 16 trillion dollars, the Middle East is in shambles, and 23 million of our fellow Americans are unemployed. Although I do believe women's issues are very important and am very thankful for the women who came before me - I believe turning this into our 'single issue' is insulting to our intelligence and weakens our credibility as capable and STRONG players in society! Our mothers and grandmothers fought for equal footing - let's not let our 'lady parts' define us as only able to focus on ONE small group of issues. Our daughters and granddaughters need us to vote for the candidate that can get us out of this financial disaster! And Rachel, come election day I think both you and Ed will realize it has been a disservice to all of us to focus SO much of the show on this single issue. As women, we are SMART, capable, complex, and passionate people - we care about more than just abortion and birth control.
If you ARE a female, you get one vote. The rest of the women and men can get their vote. At least I HOPE they do.
What good is a balanced budget if you are not free to make your own choices and we have no jobs? Plus the spending cutting will not be enough to balance the budget without revenue going up (unless you WANT to cut the safety nets).
Is that the argument the Repugs are giving us? Jobs, women, LGBTQ, poor, sick and elderly can just take a powder and we have to win an election by making the President look weak so we can cut our taxes and deregulate Wall St./banks so they can go nuts again.
