Here in RI we have exactly 2 channels that are consistantly impossible to tune in on verizon fios; 103(msnbc-sd) and 603(msnbc-hd)....1500 channels, and yet these 2 sometimes take 20 minutes of flipping up and down channels, rebooting boxes and calling customer service to be able to watch.....I feel your frustration,and thought you should know.
The Friday night show is rarely rebroadcast. Usually replaced with some prison or Jail show. Perhaps you're blacked out for the same reason the NFL blacks-out broadcast in the home-teams market area? I.E. The prison show was about a Florida prison???
I doubt seriously they blacked it out due to Colon Powwell....That would imply conspiracy. He used to be an Army General (Republican made) who was respected and opinion mattered, now he's a political-hack selling-out for $100k speaking engagements.

Actually, no. The headquarters for Cone Denim LLC (www.conedenim.com/mills.html) is in North Carolina and they do have a mill there. But they also have TWO mills in Mexico, ONE in Nicaragua, and ONE in China. So, unless you have better information than that you need to stand down.

I am very familiar with Cone Mills because they were started in my hometown over 100 years ago. the plant where these jeans are being made is about 5 miles away from my house. Yes, they have plants in other countries, but those jeans are PROUDLY made in the USA.
Unless you can disprove the company's claims, then I guess you are the one who needs to show your work. Next time, if you are going to accuse me of being wrong, try coming with some facts. Your typical line of liberal conspiracy theory BS does not scare me off.

Mine is no "typical line of liberal conspiracy theory BS". I'm saying that just because the headquarters and 1 mill are in NC doesn't mean that the jeans are made there. Chrysler has its headquarters and a plant in Detroit and yet all their dodge pickups are made in Mexico. I'm saying that just because there is a mill in NC doesn't even mean there is a jeans factory in NC. I do know the ability of people (like Beck, Romney, Ryan) to say things that sound true but aren't and if they are called on it they can use a technicality to get out of it - ex. Romney saying "I read a story that said Jeep is moving all manufacturing to China". That is NOT true. If called on it Romney can say that it IS true that he read the story. He can say he never claimed the story was true.
I don't have information that those jeans are, or are NOT, being manufactured 5 miles from your house. Do you? Not "you said, I said", give me a verifiable third party.

Go back and read my post - I did NOT say the jeans weren't made in USA. I did say that there is credible reason, given your argument, to question where they were manufactured.
BTW, two of your sources say that the 1791 jeans are Beck's line of jeans. Yet, the company says they have been been making this line of jeans for way over 100 years. That does not disqualify your sources but it does point out my argument of standing on a technicality.
One of your sources also notes that they make denim for Levi's, the company that Beck disparages for making their jeans outside the US. That raises the question of what products Cone Denim makes overseas and does Beck endorse any of those products and why wouldn't he maybe take a stronger stand and say that he wants ALL the products made in USA before he endorses them? What I read in your links suggests that Beck is more against Occupy Wall Street than he is for made in USA 1971 jeans.
I'm glad the jeans are made in USA. I'm a life-long union carpenter and appreciate "made in America". I've spent my adult life building and fighting for "made in America".

While I was sitting on a chair at 2AM at O'Hare trying to sleep, Romney actually was looking pretty good to me!! Now after I've gotten some rest, I've returned to sanity, but MY GOD, what should have been a simple 8 hr trip on Thursday turned into a 26 hr trip!! And mine was not the worst story I heard there!!!
