Really Rachel? Do you really need to know anything more than how the candidates stand on gay marriage to cast your vote? Can you really hate someone that much just because they dont agree with your view of what constitutes a marriage? I mean come on!!!!!! THE TRUTH BEHIND PRIVATIZATION

If everything was privatized with less government think what would happen to us as a people? Just take a minute to think about this.

Well here is something to think about, when you are on your job how does your boss treat you? What does corporate management think of you? How often does your hard work go unnoticed? And how hard is it to get a raise once a year? Or how fast they will fire you & won’t give you a reason why(but secretly they let you go to maintain their own personal profit) Just take a minute to think about this.(here is just a clue you just a number in profit projections)

Now think about social security privatized, Medicaid(voucher) privatized, Fema privatized, food stamps privatized(OOPS!!! Chase JP Morgan controls that just look on the back of your food stamps card) .(here is just a clue you would just be a number in profit projections)

Now Just take a minute to think about this, how hard is it to get benefits on your job? How secure is your 401k on your job?

If it’s up to them they wouldn’t pay it or give it they would rather get rid of it cut too much into there profit and squeeze as much money out the company as possible (bain capital).

Well now Just take a minute to think about this, get rid of plan parenthood, stopping abortion(for any reason), massive tax cuts for the top 2% while the middle class & the poor foot the bill.

Now Just take a minute to think about this, do you really wan’t Romney & Ryan to lead this country?

Well if your ok with the treatment that you get on your job on a larger scale that effects you everything you do in life then you want Romney & Ryan because they believe corporation are people too!

P.S.: the CEO & the Board controls the life & the direction of the corporation, the little man (the American people are like the machines that keeps it running, when they feel the machine is obsolete its tossed to the waste side).

Cheap shot last night, Maddow. You said, "High level leadership going to Newark for a photo opp....", and that sounded like a direct hit on our president! Did you ask the Mayor if she asked Gov. Chris Christie for support from the National Guard? What did the governor say to her about the situation in Hoboken? What help did the Governor offer? Let's play fair, Rachel! Last night's commentary at the end of the segment on Hoboken seemed to suggest the President should have done more in the area of direct action for the city and override the Governor. How would he do that? Just my thoughts.....!

The meaning of privatization is you own the company (Romney), you know someone that owns the company (Koch Brothers, Norquist, Adelson and other rich friends), you have some involvement in the company (Romney) and last, you have investments in the company (Tag Romney). In the end the private company will pick and choose who will receive services and who will be rejected. The people who will be rejected will have to borrow money or get it from another source; parents, friends, who cares. The private company will not help the rejected person get back on their feet and will not care. Sounds like a Romney world to me. You already see that happening with the Grover Norquist ad claiming the government shouldn't be spending money on those states.

Was it really necessary for you to say the President was using this for a photo op we are very upset at your commits.The President is a leader doing his job and nobody is standing up for him

The conservatives say they are for states rights and state control of government functions. What is the basis of that philosophical position? It is to have enclaves with the right to bigotry. Romney said that everything that can be moved to the states should be. Really it's the other way around. Unless there is a good specific reason for local control, why have 50 different bureaucracies when you could have one. And although government is corrupt at all levels, it is much moreso at the state level. If something like emergency services are left to the states, how many states will use the money unwisely (or corruptly), and then ask the feds for help? Someone here said Louisiana got what they deserved because they spent earmarked infrastructure funds not well. That is exactly the argument for centralized control of spending. Some would rather have someone to blame for deaths than to minimize damage.

Fema was started by Jimmy Carter, need I say more? How did we get along before Fema? Did we all just starve or die, no we got help the same way they are getting help now through the Red Cross and charities not from Fema. The only thing Fema is doing is getting tax payers money for the salaries of the staff. Everything that Fema claims to be doing is being done through the military and Red Cross. So I am all for getting rid of Fema.
