Joseph Farah -- World Net Daily. Also?
If Barack Obama is re-elected Nov. 6 for a second term, he will declare a full-scale war on his domestic opposition.
There may not be another free and fair election in America.
I would expect due process to go the way of the horse and buggy.
I think he will move to shut down and destroy all independent media.
In fact, I think his biggest critics will be rounded up in the name of national security.
Is it just me, or does it seem extra hyperbolic in Right-Wing Land lately?

Those on the right are formulating rationalizations for trying to overthrow the government if they don't get the Presidency.
I have no response to this nonsense. These people who think this stuff up are simply nuts. I think they've OD'd on Rush Limbaugh's madness.
Once you become unmoored from reality there is nothing to keep you from drifting farther and farther from the shores of reason.
It often seems to start with someone saying, "Have faith"
There they go, projecting again. I consider everything they say to be bull@!$%# and lies.
Rantings from a paranoid, insecure (I'm guessing here) middle-aged white male who thinks President Obama is coming for his white women!
Just another fool with money, a pen and some paper who wants to spread his miserable mealymouthed pustular balderdash upon the rest of us!
Hey Farah Dude - We're not having it, we're not having you, and you may simply take a flying fork and stick it in your eye! -Kevo
The world is overpopulated. Losing these "people" would be a good thing. It would contribute to the advancement of the species.
We are entering into the end days of RomneyWorld. "Just open your eyes... You see it all around you. The president has the mark of Cain, Dogs are living with cats, the Judas "Christie" sells out, republicans are sleeping with democrats- there's mass hysteria, human sacrifice, death panels. "
Run for your lives. The GOP is having a meltdown.
Obviously someone didn't take their meds.
The picture in my head: A stick figure with it's head on fire running back and forth screaming "Oooooobbaaaaaammmmmmaaaaaaaaa"
Reliant, this one?: http://www.sherv.net/hair.fire-emoticon-583.html
I remember having it IM ing my boss with useless messages about stuff I needed. Of course the boss didn't address it, as it would make him look bad if something needed to be fixed, you know.

Yep that would be it exactly
This sounds more like what Romney would do to me. Just another case of accusing your opponents of doing what you are really trying to do.
When all was show up to vote and we reelect Pres. Obama, the American people will be telling the Republicans their delusion is over. We won't stand for the lies anymore. We want a press that understands it's all of the facts and the facts alone that choose sides.
We won't stand for the unprecedented obstruction anymore. Congress will know they’re our hostages now and they better start working for us and working for us now.
Citizens United will come down and free and fair elections will return to America.
We don't want a CEO-in-chief, we want to keep a true commander-in-chief. Instead of wasting trillions on military equipment and wars that hurts our military's effectiveness, Pres. Obama will continue to focus our blood and treasure on target. We will be supporting a president who understands it's time to continue along the path of caring for our veterans as we bring them home.
If we reelect Pres. Obama will be sending a clear message that we understand the Constitution was framed to “…promote the general welfare…”. Government is specifically designed so none of us are left out in the storm.
Let's hope enough Americans will vote to tell the Republicans their delusions are over...too many folks want to be part of their make-believe.
In a footnote, this was added:
"Perhaps you have noticed the rough, black, wooden poles all across America. With cross arms atop. The ones with wires on them! If re-elected, Teh Obomination will have his FEMA troops round up all of the above mentioned citizens- and STRING THEM UP!"
Rational thinking, from irrational minds.
Isn't that just a redo of rightwinglander predictions from 2008?
Well, duh! Of course he wasn't going to implement his secret plan to destroy freedom until after he was reelected.
Pretty much, and every day since then. Steve's question:
Is correctly answered with a strong negation. For Farah, this is if anything pretty tame stuff.
It's definitely not you, Steve. I'm finding the rhetoric to be, again, over the top.
Well, yeah, but for Farah "over the top" is where the scale starts.
When Mayor Bloomberg made that comment about making sure people are not going to be buying massages or Gucci bags from relief funds was horrific. It just shows how these rich people think just because he is sitting there buying massages or Gucci bags everyday doesn’t mean everybody else is. What is he planning on doing giving the relief funds to the rich only, because they already have enough money to be buying their daily massages and Gucci bags and would spend that money better as the rich line their pockets with more wealth? If I can’t afford a massage or Gucci bag, I sure wouldn’t be looking to buying massages or Gucci bags, when I need to use that money to fix and repair my home. Plus think about it at this point of doing something with my home that will reduce the effects of Global Warming, since that home has already been devastated and need of repair. In addition, think about how I would make that home safer from these Global Warming affects. Concrete dome houses are nice or re-enforced walls plus there is probably many other things that can be done that people in the construction industry and renewable energy fields know about.
Deb, Typical male, Bloomberg, doesn't even know Gucci bags are passe. LOL
He should have checked with Ann Romney on that. (Queen Ann Romney who said the president isn't a grown up!). Like her husband. LOL ROTFL!
Rep. Steve King (R-Hysteria), not Bloomberg. It may have been reported by Bloomberg news . . .
Bloomberg can be an ass, but it was Steve King, the deranged congressman from Iowa, who made that remark.
Getting the facts right is important, lest we become like right-wingers.
I do believe it was that ever ridiculous Steve King of Iowa who made that viciously stupid remark.
It was Representative Steve King, well-known Republican Moron, who said that.
Sheesh, don't we have enough trouble with wingnuts being fact-challenged? What are you? Today's demonstration of what a Low Information Voter is like?
My apologies to Bloomberg.
It wasn't Bloomberg. It was that wackadoodle Republican Rep. Steve King--the one who also says that rape doesn't cause pregnancy and tried to push a redefinition of rape to only include "forcible rape".
Hey I am game for the corrections, you never know and even gave you all thumbs up marks. Grinnning.
Speaking of Bloomberg: He endorsed Obama today!!! Do you realize how great this Jewish businessman's endorsement is to Obama? Now here is a man, (and a great mayor) who actually does know business! A highly respected mayor. A multimillionaire mayor. Apparently he is willing to allow his taxes to be raised by 4 little points for the good of the country. Apparently he doesn't see Obama as an enemy of Israel. Apparently, as a businessman, he isn't afraid of Obama turning America into Greece!
Oh, yeah.....!!!! Thank you, Mayor Bloomberg, and my prayers are constantly for the city and state of NY.
I like this blog, it is actually good to be here, because even if you make a mistake you got fact checkers to help you out. Best place for the news I have ever seen.
The right is having a hissy fit cause they have a bad candidate and their bullshyt isn't blinding US anymore! They've thrown everything they can at this President and nothing has stuck, so now they're gonna throw a tantrum, really?!? How about we spank them hard on Nov. 6th and send them home without their "woobie"!
They are starting to see there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
#8.1 The light of truth always shines brighter than anything else! Their hatred cannot overcome it. Their lies cannot dim it.
Be careful...
All too often, the light at the end of the tunnel is the headlight of a train...
And this should include the right wing nuts in Congress. The way to solve the fiscal cliff and avoid the sequestor is to vote the obstructionists out of office.
Can these right wingnuts get anymore ridiculous?
Deb-3596991, It is truly hard to imagine it getting more ridiculous, but, on the other hand, they seem to have a bottomless affinity for it.
I know they can. I have faith in them.
You just had to ask, didn't you?
Yeah. It can turn violent.
"... resort to Second Amendment remedies..." - Sharron Angle
This is what passes for GOTV in Wingnutia.
It's like watching the zombies on Walking Dead. Movement without thought.
favedave, You've finally and definitively described the Mitt Romney walk! You win. I used to say he walked like he was wearing ice skates for the first time. You nailed it: movement without thought!
What has happened to the Republican Party? How do people listen and believe this CRAZY stuff. This is the dirtiest and nastiest election I can remember and I hope to God the Republicans loose. Perhaps than they will return to sanity, however, if they win we will see these tactics become even nastier and they will never tell the truth again.
Rupert Murdoch and Reagan's gutting of the FCC regulations that required broadcasters to serve the public interest happened to them.
I recall them telling us to "get over it" and "stop whining" when Bush was installed into the WH. Always controlling. That one in 2000 was pretty nuts, then look what they did to us after that.
"Cats and dogs, living together -- MASS HYSTERIA!!!"
Why do I suddenly have the theme from Ghostbusters going through my head?
"I ain't 'fraid of no Republicans..."
Republican party one of Lincoln!
Teapublican party one of Jefferson Davis!
The Democrats have Happy days are here again
This bunch have the banjo music from Deliverance
Yes because it's the left who always fear mongers, right?
I dunno Steve it seems to me that anytime the right wing uses "hyperbole" to accuse the left of doing thing X it's really just cover for the right who is actually doing thing X.
Which tells me maybe we should all be keeping notes
You are forgetting the depth of the raging river of schizophrenic paranoia that we are talking about here...
I will almost guarentee that somewhere someone on the right looked away from FOX news long enfough to see what you just posted and come to the conclusion that: You Just used "X" which must have been code for Malcolm X and therefore an allusion to you black Muslim extremist agenda...
See what I mean
Can I get a "Terrorist fist bump"
Terrorist fist bump ftw ;-)
Just saw a new, and "exciting" political ad by the Romney campaign. It compares Obama to Castro, Chavez and others who hate Capitalism. They are getting crazier and crazier. You really have to ask yourself, "Who are these people?"
I'd counter that by showing the latest stock market numbers.
I just hope that we can get them back on their meds before someone has to call the cops
I'b be happier to see wages go up and that would help More people in the economy. Wages going lower has helped stock market, but rising wages would help revenues balance budget and economy would improve.
They are redistributing wealth away from wage earners toward those "earning capital gains" on the money that floated up to them and tuck it away offshore. It hasn't dripped onto the working folks.
I am amazed that folks would believe cutting jobs and wages would be helpful and they would be rewarded for voting for more of what led to the great recession.
Focus on the Family tried its hand at prophecy in 2008. They predicted 34 dire things for the country should Obama be elected. To date, exactly zero have come to pass. I guess he is waiting until the lame duck,to accomplish them all in one fell swoop. Of course it was also published on WND so maybe they should quit prognosticating.
Would be entertaining reading if some people didn't believe this drivel but they do.
http://www.wnd.com/files/Focusletter.pdf
Scary, especially coming from religious organizations because aren't they supposed to be beacons of hope. But, it won't be as scary when everyone shows up to vote.
Beacons of hope? You mean the folks who tell you that if you don't believe exactly what they tell you to believe, you'll burn for all eternity? The ones who think different = damned? Those beacons of hope?
I long for a day when they are no longer politically relevant.
WND is getting so bad at predictions, Dick Morris will have to join the staff.
I love the smell of desperation in the morning!
People like Kent Jones have an amazing capacity to keep me walking around mumbling, "WTF are they ,smoking, drinking, injecting, eating, inhaling, sniffing, or snorting?"
Ummmmm. Is it just me, or are all those accusations the things that Romney is expecting to be accomplished by winning the election?
When Chris Christie looks more credible and principled than the presidential candidate, the GOP is in deep doo doo, indeed.
Hallucinogenic Hyperbolic Hysteria!
To be allowed the use of a public forum for a personal rant of factless baseless infantile spittle-flecked babblings, when we can't get rational dialogue because "real" journalists and editors are too scared to lose their jobs. Funny how so absolutely few people these days don't seem worried about losing their integrity.
Like virginity, losing it is only an issue when you still have it and just about as hard to get back once it's gone, but it's usually missed a whole lot more.
They're in total freak out mode.
Profits, Power, & Party is what the Republicans want, and it's all they've hung onto.
Perhaps US voters will repay that sadly shallow sentiment by voting for what is best for the entire country, not just some already-privileged fraction of people within it.
I love how they go from painting Obama as a complete incompetant to an accomplisher so swiftly and seamlessly. Gosh, do you think the Senate Republicans might fillibuster a bill that ends free elections...
Wow. This is foaming-at-the-mouth crazy @!$%#!
You really have to ask yourself if you want people who are this hateful and crazy to be the party in power!
WTF is the matter with them? They've gone rabid!
Primal Scream. Existential Angst. Pouting on Steroids.
"Pouting on Steroids" is my exotic dancer name.
And now we have that intellectual giant, Mike Huckabee, saying in an ad that if you vote for Obama, the jaws of Hell yawn before you! You are eternally condemned!
Now the extreme religious right has rewritten the Bible!
I'll just take my chances, trust the Bible I have, and vote for Obama. In fact, MY Bible says it is harder for a rich man to enter Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle! My Bible also has a problem with greed and lying! Huckabee's candidates don't seem to mind lying and greed; in fact they base their campaign on it! Hmm............
At least it's warm down here, bwah, ha, ha, ha, ha....!
Don't have to worry about Climate Change, either...
LOL, Hi David. Good to see you over here on the blog that doesn't have the lighting of a Progressive commercial!
Speaking of climate change, I heard a passing remark that another storm is brewing, but don't know where and am now telling myself that I was dreaming and having a brief little nightmare. Have you heard anything?
It is Thursday, and I still do not know if our oldest friend is stranded on Fire Island. All we know is that he is alive somewhere up there. Has anybody heard any news from Fire Island, NY??? If Staten Is. got hit that bad, the barrier island our friend is on had to be nearly destroyed.
Rachel Maddow, if you read your blog from time to time, what is the news on Fire Island? Have they evacuated the people who stayed?
This is all I know:
http://www.fireisland.com/about-fire-island/the-aftermath-of-sandy-on-fire-island/
It doesn't look good, but that poor lady at Staten Island seemed like there was not a piece of house there any more.
Those other pics show remnants of what still can be identified as houses.
India... Looks like it was just a nightmare...
The Florida Hurricane Center, which commonly tracks and forecasts hurricanes in the area of North America, has nothing on its current forecast...
If you look at the site, you can see they were forecasting Sandy hitting the East Coast a full month before it actually hit...
Sandy, I left you a comment here, but it has gone to another page or something. It may be on the next page. I went to the link and saw the videos. OMG.
I found it, on P 3.
The storm that is coming is not tropical. It is coming from the west and will bring some rain to the Northeast, but most troubling is that it will be cold. For people without power, heat or light, that could be bad. This according to The Weather Channel Friday, a.m.
Well, add in Governor Christie's comments that he 'doesn't give a damn (about election day. He) has bigger fish to fry."
Just sounds like they are trying to incite some maniac to try something vile...
They've been doing that since Obama got elected, 2nd amendment references, bulls eyes on Republican websites, everything short of giving an outright order.
