I sometimes get the sense that Donald Trump, a key Mitt Romney ally, is trying to be publicly reviled.
Donald Trump said Thursday was a "very, very sad day" after President Barack Obama did not meet his noon deadline to release his college and passport application records in exchange for $5 million to a charity of the president's choosing.
"All the president had to do is give simple documentation, simple paper, a few pages and a charity would have gotten $5 million, or substantially more," Trump said in a video posted on his Facebook page.
So, let me get this straight. A brutal and deadly storm has just devastated the East coast, and many Americans are struggling badly. Donald Trump was willing to write a multi-million-dollar check, but only if President Obama indulged Trump's ridiculous and borderline-racist conspiracy theory.
Not surprisingly, the president decided he had better things to do. Trump could have been charitable anyway, but he's choosing not to. Obama didn't humor him, so Trump apparently doesn't want to write the check.
To reiterate a point from the other day, it's worth remembering that Trump isn't just some random television personality with a reality show. This guy has made a series of public appearances with Mitt Romney, and the Republican even held a press conference to stand alongside Trump when the conspiracy theorist announced his support for the candidate. Romney even had Trump record robocalls on behalf of the campaign earlier this year.
Maybe someone can ask the candidate what he thinks of Trump's latest loathsome stunt.

Are people really fickle? No, not really. Because most people really do not have a desire to be hugely wealthy and just want to live their every day lives. People have a certain amount of trust in leaders thinking these leaders will do the right things for everybody. Actually, there was a concentration camp for people over three hundred years ago. Those poor, impovershished people created the United States and Australia. Concentration camps are the solution. Why spend 3-4 thousand dollars a month on a mother and her illegitimates when for the same cost we could house a dozen or more. As a bonus their behavior could me monitored so they don't become more of a burden to the taxpayers.

I'd love it if Obama goes ahead and releases the transcripts after the election, with no fanfare, say on a Friday afternoon - such as the Fri after Thanksgiving.
He could do it without a press release, or with a brief statement along the lines of, "There have been a few requests in the media over the last few months regarding my college transcripts. I'm proud to release them today, though looking at them reminds me that my late mother and grandparents were not very happy with some of my grades." Full stop.

I will restate what I said on Huff Post. A real benefactor of the people would give the five million, especially since he is so rich, without blinking. Trump has done nothing to bronze his legacy; his normal charity work in NYC is a couple of events a year, but he has not reached the level of a Bill Gates, or a Ted Turner. There is a heart somewhere in that body, politics aside; Donnie Marmot could be out there on TV leading the donation charge, but I hear nothing but silence, and insults towards the president.
He's been interviewed for the History Channel's The Men Who Built America, and it drives me crazy because he distracts from the program, not contributes to it.

All school records are sealed by law. There is no law or regulation saying a President, or anybody else, must make school records public. And they're nobody's business. east of all Trumps. Or your's.
To this day, Trump denies the veracity of Obama's birth certificate. Trump said he would give the money to charity if the documentation was to his satisfaction. That would never happen and really, I doubt that Trump has the cash to make such a donation. What Obama should really do is state that he will be happy to provide his transcripts AFTER Trump makes the donation.

Why can't this President be transparent about his college transcripts. We all know Trump can be a jerk at times but Obama is not capable of releasing his records. Bush had no problem releasing his, what's the problem?
The problem is that it will never be enough. If he releases his transcripts, then they'll want his high school records, then his elementary school records. It's blatant, thinly veiled racism at hand here.

Bush didn't release his, they were leaked. In fact, in 1999 Bush refused to release his school records. I don't know if he did release them after they were leaked, but at that point it wouldn't matter.
President Obama's records are not sealed. Check Politifact. There are records that the Universities cannot release, but none of the President's records are sealed. In fact, if you had the guts to check out Politifact you will find that most of the "facts" you are spouting are not true. One has to wonder why so many false stories are floating around. Or not if you look at what kind of campaign is being waged against him. If you can't find any real issues, just make them up and spout them enough and the deficient will believe it.
We don't need to see what grade President Obama received in freshman English or any other class. The only records that need to be released are Mitt Romney's tax returns.
