David Wagle writes from Apple Valley, Minnesota, where his son Luke went trick-or-treating in their Republican neighborhood as a Romney-Obama voting machine. David says the poll was unscientific, of course, but check out the results:
Obama won the candy count with over 284 pieces of candy to Romney's 141.
The weight was tied. Both candidates had 7.9 pounds of stuff in their bag. However, Romney supporters were found not only to be giving larger pieces of candy, but at several non-candy items including at least one 12 oz can of pop.
By the rules of the special election made up arbitrarily on the spot, we declared Obama the winner in MN's 2nd congressional district of last night's Halloween Candy Poll.

Hey linksys, is that some sort of threat? Do you think if Romney wins that progressive web sites or media outlets might somehow disappear overnight? Kind of freaky there linksys. I mean that could only happen if your candidate was involved in some sort of coup or something. were you just dreaming there or what? Strangely enough knowing that Obama bailed out Wall Street they don't back him and not asking for anything in return is that they have made record profits. It made me scratch my head! But now it seems clear that by doing so he gave them an easy way out if they chose to do so. 401ks have regained their worth and many Americans are much better off because of it. And not so much for the day traders have lost and with Obama's second term will expose those like Romney who have so much to lose though their loop holes that aren't totally legal and that's the reason why he was picked by those who have so much to lose. My guess is that we will see a big drop in the stock market (it will recover) because of a big sell off as those will try to hide what they have made and hide those fortunes in liquid assets and put them safe havens in offshore accounts. Every move they make will only make themselves more visable but they will try to pass it off onto their brokers and hope they will be the ones who will bare the brunt of the law. So there you go the reason why Willard Romney was the choice of so many Billionaires! Think on this. The USA uses 75% of the worlds oil and the US military uses 40% of that oil. If the US could provide that oil in PUBLIC form from federal lands it would be more that 50% of the consumption of oil. And so if not bought of sold as a commodity it should have an direct impact on the price of oil. So I say drill baby drill! And show those assoils what for! In so it should DRIVE the price of oil DOWN! If not it will make it very much apparent just who is the real drivers of high gas prices apparent for all to see! What do you have to say about that?
