Happy Sunday! We've got a show tonight!
Tonight's guests include:
Scott Arceneaux, executive director of the Florida Democratic Party
Steve Kornacki, host of “The Cycle” on MSNBC and senior writer for Salon
Steve Schmidt, senior strategist for the McCain-Palin campaign and MSNBC contributor
And here's executive producer Bill Wolff with a look at tonight's show:

If I get TOO AGOG at what is coming up on the show, I might have to start worrying about Gog and Magog and the end of the world!!!!
OOOOHHHHH NOOOO! The Dispensational Premillennialists are coming! The Dispensational Premillennialists are coming!
It is 2012 after all. =8->
BTW, I think you should do this on EVERY Sunday! Hey, why not? Just tape all the overflow stuff from every show during the week, all those hot segments that are now lost to the ethers. Piece 'em together and call it Maddow Sunday.
See, I wouldn't be caught dead watching ANY sports on TV, on Sunday or any other day. Nothing against sports, as I used to shoot it, but that's why I don't watch it anymore. Nothing beats a sideline pass. Besides, most people can't watch TV sports with the sound on anyway, announcers are so inane.
Bloody 'ell, Harry Reid was right all along!
Keep up the great work, Mr. Wolff , but is there a way i could watch it live website? , i don't have cable.
FEMA's vaunted "lean forward" strategy that called for advanced staging of supplies for emergency distribution failed to live up to its billing in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
In fact, the agency appears to have been completely unprepared to distribute bottled water to Hurricane Sandy victims when the storm hit this Monday. In contrast to its stated policy, FEMA failed to have any meaningful supplies of bottled water -- or any other supplies, for that matter -- stored in nearby facilities as it had proclaimed it would on its website. This was the case despite several days advance warning of the impending storm.
FEMA only began to solicit bids for vendors to provide bottled water for distribution to Hurricane Sandy victims on Friday, sending out a solicitation request for 2.3 million gallons of bottled water at the FedBizOpps.gov website. Bidding closed at 4:30 pm eastern.
Breitbart News spoke with contracting officer Annette Wright, who said that the winning vendor would be required to deliver the 2.3 million gallons of bottled water to an East Farmingdale, New York distribution center that was listed in the solicitation request by Monday, November 5th. Ms. Wright was unable to say when or how the water would be delivered from the distribution center to needy Hurricane Sandy victims in New Jersey, Staten Island, Long Island, and other boroughs of New York City. Vendors "are currently being evaluated," she said, and when the vendors are announced, they will provide information on how local distribution will occur.
Obama is a failed leader... 2 more days real change is comming......
This is misleading though. Water has been handed out all over the affected area. What this is saying is that they did not have higher reserves.
How does this show failed leadership exactly? And how would Romney do any better?
Bill Wolfe ~~ well, yes, I am eagerly anticipating watching the NEW and IMPROVED SUNDAY TRMS but you didn't mention anything about those of us that (for one reason or another) have to watch on our computer machines. Apparently it is not being streamed?? Is it being available on a delay?? Will it in fact be available at all to those of us who can't afford the luxury of cable??
Please don't forget that some of your demographic live hand-to-mouth, and not because of natural disasters.
Thanks as always,
Z
Live streaming would be so wicked awesome for TRMS. I'm especially wishing they would have this for election night coverage.
Guess those of us who don't fork the cash for cable TV are just going to go without =/
I normally listen to the podcast - like jrtaylor above, is live streaming available tonight?
Thanks.
Unfortunately, since apparently Mr. Wolff doesn't get his own microphone, it's rather hard to make out what he's talking about, let alone understand what he's saying.
Ballot Tampering in Oregon. An elections worker caught casting republican votes on voter's completed ballots. http://www.katu.com/politics/Ballot-tampering-reported-in-Clackamas-County-176986701.html
Is it cruel and unusual punishment to have the person caught doing this put in stocks. Having a crowd gathered being informed of the crime and filmed on the local and national news?
The republicans can only win elections by cheating.
Hi Rachel,
On your story about voter suppression and the Long Lines - I just have to ask has Anyone checked HOW MANY VOTING MACHINES are available? The easiest way for to suppress the early vote with out obviously changing the hours available is to simply reduce the number of voting machines. We saw this done to great effect in 2008 to suppress the college age voters. I think this is happening again in Ohio and Florida.
there is a new storm headed your way, stay safe!
Rachel,
I watched Steve Kornacki give bull@!$%# explanations about Mitt Rmoney being ahead with likely voters ... blah-blah-blah, with his hands moving all over the place as he was trying to convey his nonsense. In practically all the latest polls, Mitt Rmoney is trailing President Obama. Those are likely voters, not registered voters.
Moreover, Nate Silver's predictions (at the 538 blog) are based on aggregate polls of likely voters. At less than 2 days from election day, his statistical model finds that Mitt Rmoney has only a 14.5% chance to win this election, against 85.5% for President Obama. Now, every time I see on TV a talking head trying to explain, most of the time, a single poll data to the viewers, I simply change the channel. Any body who has read the 538 blog, the PEC blog or the votamatic blog would do the same.

I am really curious why Rachel always has Steve Schmidt on her show. We all know what he's going to say before he opens his mouth.
One thing about Steve, he's got that party line memorized!!!
