Everything about this Husted character urks me. He essentially broke the law set by the supreme court for that provision he issued on Friday and yet he has faced no real consequences. No removal from office, no reversal of his decision. Nothing. Just a lawsuit he has to answer to after the election. This will not end well.
Hopefully they will throw this bum out of office. Husted is so totally UNAMERICAN. He belongs in Cuba with the other dirty dealing Govenors and Secretary of states. I truly believe true American's will have long memories and will vote the bums out !

I goat myself up at 5:30 to make it to the polling center by 6:00am. I forgot the voters card that was mailed out in Mid-October. Please remember to bring it otherwise its an extra line. The workers gave me 3 different districts and the lines were long on each one. Finally I got to sign my name on the dotted line got my PAPER BALLOT and stood on my last and final line to scan my ballot. To my disappointment, only 117 people cast their ballot since 6:00am because of all of the confusion at the polling site. Please be patient because the situation is so unorganized
It's not the same procedure in every state. Tell us where you are before giving blanket advice, please.
All elections should be by mail, with uniform instructions across the states; anyone worried about voting in person can turn the ballot into the secretary of state. Look to Oregon as a model, and California. We don't have these voting problems. No one should ever have to stand in a line to vote; the more of a hassle it is to vote results in less people voting, period.......
In CA you keep a copy of the bar code on the ballot and you can check to see if your vote was counted online. I'll never go back to standing in line at the polls.

It stated that Mitt and Tagg are being investigated for aPonzi scheme, and that they were both part owners of Delphi (used to be Delco) and they basically held the auto makers parts back until they would pay their TARP funds to them, That's our tax money, the TARP bailout. Once the Automakers paid that money to them, then they let the parts go to build cars. Check signed by Ann romney and placed in a bank on an island of the South of France. And hidden there. Its between 15 and 55 million dollars.

Hi Rachel: I just voted in SC and was amazed to see only to Democrats on the ballot. The Pres & V.Pres, and 1 other local office. Everything else was Republicans with no other choices. This has inspired me to get involved with the Democartic party here in SC. I am originally from NJ and could not believe what I saw. How do you fight something like this?

Obama blew out tax dollars (stimulus) on bad investments. He invested our money in Solindra, an electric car company in Finland, and a windmill company in China. Now you tell me how this great stimulus was supposed to help Americans. Stupid should have invested in our infrastructure, electric companies, bridges, gas and water lines, etc. that would have put Americans all over to work, engineers, concrete workers, iron workers, landscapers, truck drivers, carpenters, and on and on and on. This would have been a stimulus to get America going, not investing in a few companies of which 2 of them weren't even in this country. As far as I am concerned Obama don't know his butt from his lying lips. And when are him and his administration going to face the wrath of Fast and Furious, and Benghazi, this was a total screw up of the entire Washington and media. They should have pushed this through to trial before the election and not afterwards. Depending on what network you watch the news on you may not even know anything about the fast and furious and Benghazi, there was so little mention of them on a couple networks. I'm done with HOPE, hope didn't float and I hope Obama sinks with this election. Excuse the grammar, people rag on me all the time about it. I guess I should have stayed in school rather than drop out and go serve my country. Well hopefully the best man will win and send this one packing.

We in Washingon State have nearly all mail-in voting! It's great! The Election Committee has done a great job to ensure everyone gets to vote. No long lines, no leaving work or kids behind-have a glass of wine and vote! Early! All states should follow Washington's lead. Great coverage, BTW, Rachel. OH, and it seems logically that if ALL people eligible to vote in our nation DO vote, that Dems have the advantage...doesn't that say that the country leans progressive/democratic ??!?!!?? went this morning in the cold at 7am to vote here in mid-Michigan...the staff at our precinct said that they came in at 6 and there were already people standing out the door waiting. the poll staff said that they enjoyed volunteering because voting made people smile. so it's going to be a big turnout day today here.
i've had a trivia question about the social psychology of the right of late... why is it that when you get a line of folks on a website like this, that most all the really abusive and mean trolls tend to be talking along the extreme Republican and conservative lines? everywhere the really offensive crap comes from the right side of this argument. liberals try to reason with someone who does not want reason, or truth, or facts, but only fear, and the visceral argument, often ad hominem in nature. it just troubles me that in the one place that people should have "Civil Discourse", there is none.
having studied a bit of history now...the last time the US was this polarized was in 1848, and the issue was slavery. the Wets and Dry's in the 1910's are the next most closely divided polity. odd that one issue was regressive and conservative, the other progressive and liberal.

To give a sharp contrast to what is happening at the polls in Florida and Ohio, I went to my polling place this morning at 9:15 in Cambridge, MA. There was a small line, and as usual there were 8 voting booths. However, anticipating the larger crowd in the evening, they were setting up 5 more booths. This is the way it should be! Voting should not be an inconvenience. What is going on Florida and Ohio is scandalous and outrageous!
Boca Raton, Florida Voter suppression. Road blocks by police. Palmetto Park Road & Route 441. Police at stop light with radio pick who will get pulled over down the street. I was with a single mother and her baby on way to polls. The others I saw were African American, Jewish, and Asian. Really !!!!!!!!!!! We got a ticket cause we couldn"t find our insurance card. 20 minute delay with a screaming baby.
The first thing I saw this morning was interviews with people in NH telling who they voted for and why. First one was an elderly lady (not calling names; I'm 66) who said "Romney - because of his honesty. We need to know the truth."
This is what scares me about the Republican vote. They're all so uninformed that they only know they want to vote against Obama; they don't know why and what they're voting for. REALLY scary!
I wish that today could be about a respectful quiet. I hated on Today show Giuliani talking about the president being incompetent. I hated suggestions that because the POTUS decided to take a break today and respect peoples right to vote today, that Robert Gibbs was asked by Today show if the President was being "overconfident" Then all the press about Romney out working until the end, like he is some martyr.
Loved your show last nite on a President of Historic Consequence. Great show. I had forgotten or didn't know some of his accomplishments , so glad you put all that together. I know he is the right choice and your show made me ever the more proud of him.
