GOP Rep. Peter King: FBI had 'obligation' to tell Obama about Petraeus affair

I had no other way to inform you of the sad news of Eileen Blurton, passing away on Sunday. The services will be Saturday. Here is the story from the Idaho Statesman.

Gee, am I the only one here that notices that NONE of the 11/13 links refer to the sad state of the American economy? Time for our president to "man-up".
The news is awash with a sex scandal involving the last public figures one would expect to be involved in such, the GOP alternating between denial and civil war, the legalization of pot and other election results... and you are surprised no one is commenting on a bad but gradually improving economy?
Don't worry, once the sequester and tax cut deadlines approach we will be hearing a lot about the economy. And a bit of it will even be true.
So I'm thinking 6 maryjane plants per person per household, I could put two on either side of the bus stop that's in front of my house, and, as I live on the corner, I could put 4 plants right there at the intersection, then, take out the evergreens around the front porch,,, dang,,, the city claims to own all the land from the curb to the sidewalk,,,..
Rachel, do you know about this project:

These guys buy the student debt for pennies on the dollar and instead of collecting it, simply forgive it to whoever the borrower happens to be. Maybe you can feature this on your program. If this catches on, amazingly, the whole student debt problem might be solved!
Ms Maddow should get together with other progressive personalities, and organize a group of individuals including capitalists interested in putting together a Progresive radio station. Here in Portland, 620AM radio Progresive radio program was canceled. They replace it with sports. I understand the same is happening all over the Nation. The station is own by Bain corporation. This is very obvious that it has to do with Obama wining the election, and that Republicans are getting ready for the 2016 election. We need a strong Progressive Radio Station that can not be bought by the Right! Thank you
Love crazed FBI guy w/ political leanings looking for naughty emails trips over
FBI involvement in actual "Seven Days In May" plot involving celebrity CIA boss US Army
General. Ladies involved disappear. Maybe into one of those bad neighborhoods somewhere
in Saudi Arabia.
Rachel Maddow, You are one of the greatest progressive voices and leading feminists I know of today. I disagree with Dr. Charnin below, but he worries about the dummy down of America in terms of election fraud. He is wrong about you. You could see the value of his work and know the value of election reform and Federal Election Standards and Practices to guide the states as important as Civil Rights guided them since the 1960's. I almost never miss your show and the way you ran the MSNBC election night table was magnificent and took the lead of all the networks.
Thank you for your consideration of Dr. Charnin's work/book in advance,
Casey Reed

It would be nice if Rachel read my book, or Steve Freeman's, or Jon Simon's, or MCM, or Fitrakis... I could go on and on. What would be even better if she or any of the other hosts dared to mention it. But that would be suicide. If I sent her a her a copy it would probably be marked "Return to Sender" and unopened. That's what happened when I sent my first book, "Proving Election Fraud", to Keith Olbermann. They are held on a very strong, long leash.

Truman fired a five star, not a four star, general.
FYI there are no five star generals. The extra star he was granted was merely symbolic..."Often referred to as a "five-star general", the rank of General of the Army has historically been reserved for wartime use and is not currently active in the U.S. military"
I love TRMS. It is the finest news/info show on the air. It is very, very rare when I question anything about the show. But I think you guys dropped the ball on the segment re: Petraeus. There is no brighter or more insightful commentator today than Frank Rich. He is terrific. But why was he selected to offer analysis in a military vein? That is not his area of expertise. There are so many others who would have been far more appropriate (e.g. Chuck Hagel, Bob Kerrey, Sam Nunn, etc etc) And while it is good that the epidemic of divorce among veterans was alluded to, how on earth could the much more critical and tragic matter of military suicides have been overlooked?
Looks to me like we should toss in Arizona when we give Texas back to Mexico!
Frank Rich-" The American weakness that Romney both apotheosized and exploited in achieving this feat—our post-fact syndrome where anyone on the public stage can make up anything and usually get away with it—won’t disappear with him. A slicker liar could have won, and still might"
A truth befitting Edgar Allen Poe?
