Tonight's guests:
- Josh Rogin, reporter for Foreign Policy and author of "The Cable" blog
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi, (D-CA), House Democratic Leader
And here's senior producer Cory Gnazzo with a preview of tonight's show as seen through the unblinking, unsteady eye of my jittery flip cam:

I loved the Rachel speech you put in the word "WE" and now I'd like you to ask Dusty Rhodes for her's, on "WHY I VOTED FOR OBAMA' And make it into a big "I" .
Bobby Jindal is like a watch. He may be right twice a day. But the problem lies with his educational policies which are destroying the public schools in Louisiana. He also is pushing the schools to include creationism while limiting the teaching of critical skills. To me Bobby is two faced and is just trying to get publicity to fill his ego.
Watching this interview with Pelosi, which comes right on the heels of the segment about impeaching the President, I cannot help but be reminded about the enormously
valid & heroic efforts made by Dennis Kucinich to impeach Dick Cheney.
While the High Crimes of Cheney in lying us into war in Iraq are so vastly more
egregious than anything Obama could possibly have done here, let us not forget
that it was indeed this very same Nancy Pelosi who took impeachment "Off the
Table".
While Ms. Maddow is perhaps my favorite person in the whole world, I'm seeing a
twinkle of regretfully rose-colored glasses in Rachel's eyes as she gushes about, & to the Minority Leader.
Indeed Pelosi deserves Kudos for her long tenure & for being the first woman House
leader, one might remember the enormous faux-pas she made by refusing to investigate the Botch administration for the world war-crime of the century.
Based on the vituperative, hateful vigor these congressional hit-men are going after
the president, I'm suspecting such admiration for Ms. Pelosi might be a bit overblown.
Pelosi was wrong, it was exactly the wrong tack to take, and she missed a huge opportunity to uphold the rule of law. It was a vast abdication of her responsibility to not adopt the Kucinich Impeachment Bill.
This is how Democrats are way too nice, and why they have so much trouble prevailing
against the Idiocracy of the deranged republicon wrong wing.
Just sayin'...
Nancy Pelosi is the last person to deserve admiration or respect! Her and her husband made millions off her position through insider knowledge on stocks, (illegal to the average citizen) and then moved that money to offshore accounts. She typifies the worst of the 1% but actually said she supports and was one with OWS. What a hypocrite! She is constantly making asinine statements (even worse then Biden) and acts like an ignorant, ditsy fool. Maybe all that Botox has ravaged her brain!
Actually this was investigated and found out not to be true. But thanks anyways.
The question posed to Nancy Pelosi by the reporter about age was typical of some of the younger generation who truley believe their right to work trump the elder citizen's. This is especially true of technical fields where the younger generation is recruited and the elders are handled in a way to avoid lawsuits. Age discrimination is as alive and well as Romeny phoneyism and eliteism.
Off topic but since no one will mention it here I will:
A House Republican appeared to open the door Thursday to raising tax rates on top
earners, stepping away from the long-held party line on the eve of high-stakes
talks over the so-called "fiscal cliff."
At the same time, a group of Senate Democrats pressed a new set of fiscal cliff
demands that would include significantly more taxes to pay for more stimulus as
part of any budget deal.
Instead of working to resolve the 'Fiscal Cliff' issue, Democrats are piling on. If talks fail to resolve the issue Democrats will of course blame Republicans for political points and liberals here will do the same!
Troll.
I have been waiting for Luke Russert to show us his inexperience and indelicate sensitivity. He has never belonged on national TV, he was 'gifted' (the word of the day) his job by the death of his father, and HE HAS FINALLY SHOWED US HIS STRIPES.
Get him out of national coverage.

I have been waiting for Luke Russert to show us his inexperience and insensitivity, and tonight he finally showed his true colors. He has never belonged on national television, and he was "gifted" (today's word of the day) with a slot, due to his father's death.
Get him off national TV.

Cory is awesome. Don't get to see him often enough!
[Waves, Hi Cory!]
I think the reason John McCain is on a tear right now is very simple. I think it's a safe bet that he spent the last four years trusting in Mitch McConnell to make his hated rival in 2008 a one-term rival. I'll bet he was obsessed with it and is lashing out in utter frustration and anger. I'll bet he feels like he lost the election all over again. Poor man. Being somewhat obsessive myself, I really do feel for him.
The behavior of the last TOP two GOP candidates for our highest office has restored and re-validated my faith in the American political election system.
