Hey military bosses. Women are in combat now. So that ship has sailed. Make it official and move on. Yes there will be howling as there has been over every opening of the ranks. But it will go away.

My daughter has a friend who served with the 1st Division. Officially she wasn't a combat soldier, but her job put her combat situations every day she was in a war zone. As Don Belmont says this ship has sailed. It is time for the reality to sink in.

Fact: Mitch Stewart, OFA's first director signalled that the shift of OFA would be to a new group called "TheAction.org" He made this announcement in a 30,000 person conference call.

The Reality: Two weeks after this redeployment, their twitter feed, #jointheaction has only 2900 followers. Check it for yourselves.

This is pathetic. Three weeks is long enough. Someone please please tell me that Obama will not turn his back on the grassroots again. Someone tell me that OFA will not be ignored for grassroots activism as it was in 2008.

In the Nov. 13th Mitch Stewart made some bold statements in his conference call/webcast about carrying OFA grassroots efforts forward into the future. (In the 2012 campaign, He was central to OFA's winning strategy, serving as the Battleground States director. As recounted by HuffPo:
