Considering the debt is resulting from GOP giveaways to defense contractors and no-bid contracts to corporations like the former VP's Halliburton and tax cuts for the top 1%, sounds to me like the "party of free stuff" is the GOP. Considering that the people they represent don't pay much in taxes, from either being on welfare already or hiding it overseas, anything the GOP spends in government is using other people's money.

Larry, the Supreme Court has ruled that you aren't entitled to anything. Congress could eliminate SS and Medicare tomorrow if they so desired. Interestingly though it was Obama that threatened seniors with delayed checks.

Shooter, It is my understanding that RED States have more People on some type of Public Aid than Blue States, Ask Gov. Walker about his Aides and Plea deal's, Fines, Embezellment, The Repub's have their fair share. It is increasingly clear that senate republicans are trying to make a spot for Scott Brown. I notice that Bob Corker was treated as a sane human being. If you cannot remember the openly racist campaign he ran in Tennessee against his black opponent, you need to go find out what he did. When you do, you will know that you must invert his every word.
Notice that Tom Cole is now speaking out. He has been given a gerrymandered district. It certainly gives him the freedom to safely parrot the RNC talking points. Remember, if you didn't already know, the RNC provides him with 1,000,000 dollars every two years to run for his gerrymandered seat. Ask yourself what his revious job was prior to being in a house seat. He was a fulltime employee of the RNC. His opponent this time had around 30,000 dollars to run against his one million. The opponent still received 28% of the vote. Tom Cole is a walking press release for the RNC.
I see that there are still "talkers" engaged in the "Oh the national debt is so awful." line of republican spin. When George Bush went into office, 2000, the self same spin talkers were parroting the think tank line that the national debt was inconsequential. Dennis Miller was one of them. It ruined his stand up career. But as reward he has been fiven a game show.
The national debt is straw man that the republican party trots out when they go out of office. As soon as they get back in the "talking point" disappears. It isn't so much that they are hypocritical, rather it is insulting that they think that we are so dumb as to forget. You would think that the loyal republicans would be insulted. After all they too are being asked to turn a blind eye.
I have a few reminders about the national debt to impart. As a starter nearly 3/4ths of the debt is held right here in the United states. That leaves slightly more than 1/4th to be held elsewhere. If you listen to the 6 o'clock news you will get the idea that the Chinese hold 30 or 40 percent of the national debt. They mislead. It may well be that they do hold that much of the foreign portion of the debt. In fact the Chinese hold 7.3% of our national debt. We do face one hell of a dose of liars. It is time they were confronted for what they are.
I'd heard that the chinese hold 6% of our debt,, which pokes a tiny little hole in my "why is it socialism is sustaining capitalism" theory..

It seems to me that they are intentionally trying to get rid of the Republican women.They must find their intellegience intimidating to them. They do not know how to relate to women, they are afraid of them.
Somebody please tell Susan Rice to stop talking to the clowns from the circus. They wanted to blame someone and Dr. Rice got the call. Have you ever been in a position you thought you were helping to solve a concern and the more you talked the more people did not believe you and blame you and all you were trying to do was make peace? Susan Rice was told this is what you are suppose to say and nothing more. Susan Rice's mistake was talking to those clowns. She is not the Secretary of State but all of this is her fault? The President has already said talk to me but they prefer to blast Susan Rice. Hilary Clinton said all of this was her responsibility but they continue to blast Susan Rice. So all of this tells you yes, Rachel, there is more to this because the two people the clowns need to talk to are not being approached. I blame those same clowns for the 2001 9/11 attack. Just thinking about all of those people dead and injured just makes me sick and now they want to place blame. Stop and look in the mirror. There is enough blame to go around because many of our Americans dead and injured.
