All of this coverage of Obama as peacemaker--what about his role in murdering children with drones? You've covered drones, but what about children specifically? Funny how none of that matters to the war mongers who use the slightest incident to start wars and/or murder children. So what is your point does it really matter if its drones killing children or armed men going door to door butchering anyone they find. Funny how people always whine about Obama using drones that save American lives yet were silent when GWB was sending Americans to their deaths for make believe reasons. Really do you believe ground troops will make sure children don't die, here is a clue don't start crap and crap don't happen to innocent by standers. Another words your whine isn't going to work, that is the bad part of starting wars and supporting war mongers, innocents die. So what is Obama supposed to do when the other side see's kindness as weakness.
In terms of qualified Republican women, why isn't Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) getting more attention? She was the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Congress. If they're looking for someone who's qualified who can Chair things, why not her?

In 2011, she became the first republican congressperson to support repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act. In 2012, she became the first republican in Congress to support same sex marriage.
Is there any doubt why she was stripped of her chairmanship?
As long as the far right maintains its vice like grip on the GOP, she will be disqualified from any future leadership positions in the GOP. It's not just misogyny, but suppression of any republican daring to step out of line and give anything more than token support for LGBT issues.
