Here's executive producer Bill Wolff, with a preview of tonight's show:

Very nice, I'm impressed. Reminds me of Jack Nicholson a little "Here's Johnny".
yes but where is his tie ?
The tie is the first thing to come off when the evening comes.
Just a theory here, but Rachael will be on tonights show. 2 guests =yes Rachael. 3 guests = guest host. Let's see if it pans out.
By the way, when is the Christmas office party? Is it potluck?
I always Watch CNN and CBS they always have news on
politics.
I can’t believe some republicans come on live TV and lie.
I saw this republican say that Obama wanted to raise taxes
On the middle class if He can’t get the speaker of the house
and
Republicans to raise taxes on the wealthiest 2%. Isn’t that
what
What Is holding everything up. The fact that republicans don’t
want to
Raise taxes on the 2%?
They're sore losers.
Ooooo -- Chellie Pingree -- hey, I vote for this woman. She's a keeper . . .
There is a very simple solution to the conflict between WA/CO's new marijuana laws and federal law; THE STATES HAVE NO JURISDICTION TO ENFORCE FEDERAL LAW!!!! So, WA/CO law enforcement no longer needs to spend any effort to enforce a law that is not on their books. If the feds want to spend resources to enforce federal law they are free to do so, the states no longer have any right or obligation to assist.
LOL you are so right, Buster! "Just a theory here, but Rachael will be on tonights show. 2 guests =yes Rachael. 3 guests = guest host. Let's see if it pans out." Anyone who says marijuana hampers cognizance is wrong!
My doctor said I have to lay off the alcohol or my liver will explode so TRMS should have a brownie recipe for this Friday….just saying. Did you know that Jefferson grew hemp ? The more I learn of him, the more I like him.
So did GW...George Washington.
Jefferson and Washington raised hemp for fiber; it's really good for rope and canvas.
Yes they did, hemp was huge for the founding fathers. They also discussed the seperation of male from female plants..only ONE reason to do so....females seperated from males don't produce seeds and by result are far more potent in their thereputic nature.
BTW it looks like Gerry Mandering and Phil A. Buster are enemies of the state!
Dear TRMS,
Come on now !! I did not know that a democracy could be so must work! Having to vote at every single election cycle was not what I signed up for. Now I understand why dictatorships are so popular.
Signed wore out Democrat.
rm: while listening to your crys of foul on michigan redistricting tonight my govt class indicates that is done every time the us govt census is taken?
sbw
Redistricting is normal after each census. Drawing the districts to favor one party or faction over another is simply gerrymandering. It's the gerrymandering that is the problem.
OK, I hate the adds before the real videos, so this is new for me, but how do I get the add to replay?? Martin Von who ??
Thanks for a great year bill & rachel , may the next be even better , hug everyone for me, xoxoxoxox
while I'm thrilled to hear the FCC and Congress will finally implement the advertising loudness bill, you discussed on your show tonight ... you need to know if you do attempt to file a complaint with the FCC ... you must pay a $25 filing fee !!!! now here's your gov't at work ...
Just saw the segment on gerrymandering. I was very grateful to learn how Republican controlled state legislatures game the system to help insure more congressional seats for their party. It all seems so obvious I can't believe I didn't see it before. Here's my question. Maybe someone here or even, God forbid, Dr Maddow herself could help me answer it. I live in Illinois' 4th Congressional District. The borders of the district (you can check them out on Wikipedia) scream gerrymander. When redistricting took place our state's legislature was (and is even more so today, Democratic. I realize that as a Republican I am heavily biased but I assume that a Democratic legislature would lower their standards and favor their folks just like the Republicans do. Now that's the problem. No matter how you draw up the borders for the two or three involved districts Democrats will be in the majority. The districts are all predominately in Chicago. There are no Republicans to isolate. Why bother with the wacky borders? Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. It seemed so simple when Dr. Maddow explained it but now I'm at a loss.
Yah, well just wait till Friday when she bombs us with a pop quiz !! Then who will be laughing ??
