I always think of "Dementor" when I hear Jim DeMint's name.
And now DeMint is giving us a pause that refreshes. Until he starts in on the stuff he plans to dream up for the Heritage Foundation.
Please don't be sidetracked by those who want to blame Mr. President for causing the 'cliff-drop'. He IS standing for what we, the American People WANT! Let us continue to back him up!
I am not exactly sure where I heard it....but the figure was 93%. That's the percentage of political races won by the guy who spends the most money. To me this explains all of the Republican shenanigans that have taken place in the last 4 years. The over reach in the states about worker rights, voter suppression and ramming through legislation that they know is not in the best interest of the majority but in the best interest of the 2%. It explains the attitudes of people like the Koch brothers. For them it is a long range numbers game and the odds are in their favor. The Republican politicians feel that they can be as blatant as they want about it because in 93% of the races they will win. Then they will get in office and rig the game so that all of it goes their way. Unless the middle class wakes up and starts proving that their votes cannot be bought, we will find ourselves more and more powerless each and everytime there is a race.
I thought 93% was the percentage of abortions that Planned Parenthood performs.
"Not intended to be a factual statement."
Rachel has stated more than a few times that Scott Brown criticized Elizabeth Warren for being Native American - that's incorrect; his claim was that she lied about being Native American...Same crazy - completely different complaint.
