The "13" for the 2013 that will light up when the ball drops in Times Square on New Year's Eve arrived in Times Square today. Andy Dallos headed over there to greet it as they took it off the truck. The NY1 coverage mentions:
The number includes 32,000 high-power LEDs. They use only 9 watts each, compared to the 40 watts that the previous halogen bulbs used.
Not mentioned in the report is where they keep the "20." I never tried to look, but I guess they could just leave it up there.

My resolution for 2013?
To FIGHT LIKE HELL to help Americans For Safe Access get marijuana rescheduled from Schedule 1 to Schedule 3, so serious medical testing can finally begin in the U.S. and our scientists can now PROVE that we have a new source of cannabis-based cancer-fighting drugs.
In my mother's memory, that is all I will ever want... RIP Rose.

Equality. Equality. Equality. Fight for equality as much as I can. Write letters to anyone who will listen. Try to get my time in to get these matters passed. I shouldn't be afraid of living life.
I have had the best "New Years" resolution that I have been able to keep for many years..."I will never make a New Years resolution again"...see? Works for me...
