And here's executive producer Bill Wolff with a preview of what will be covered (cue bad weather soundtrack):

Saw this story. It's amusing if anything for it's irony.

Ah We have Eriza substituting for Rachel tonight and you know what happens when we have a substitute. It means the kids will be running wild tonight.
Ha! Actually, Ezra Klein is one of the brightest people in media, which is rough on my ego because he looks young enough to be my son...
There is no such thing as a fiscally responsible elected or appointed Democrat. Please someone name at least one and the legislation they have written and passed, or tried to pass.
Poor delusional tea bagged republicans just can't seem to remember a thing over a week long.
Looking back over the past 90 years or so, which presidents were responsible each time our economy fell into the ditch? Which policies and programs actually got us back out of the ditch?
Please name one piece of legislation that was passed or attempted to be passed by Republicans that brought down the deficit. I'd be particularly interested to hear how they did this with no support from Democrats or without Democratic input in anyway.
As for the list: Obamacare, tax increases, food stamps and other programs like social security and medicare, public services like transportation, and FDA and EPA regulations are all examples of things Democrats have pushed for that have generated revenues in the US. All of these help to reduce the deficit.
As far as David Gregory goes and his show's producer they should be jailed. They both violated the DC law..."NBC contacted MPD inquiring if they could utilize a high capacity magazine for their segment. NBC was informed that possession of a high capacity magazine is not permissible and their request was denied." So again for their and nbc's agenda they decided to ask ATF and got bad advice. Why would he still go ahead and do it ? We have seen enough pictures and videos of high cap magazines. Shows to go you how low main stream media has gotten.
We already know how low the media is allowed to go Fox news is still on the air.
Ugh Wyatt the ATF said that they would contact the DC police and allow them to do so and Gregory was clearly under the impression that he could. But for the record the magazine wasn't full of bullets (which had been stipulated that it could not be full of bullets) and you don't actually know if it was a real magazine or a prop. Why are Republicans so reactionary and willing to jump all over things WITHOUT evidence???
Because they hate liberals and MSNBC. And most everybody and everything else.
Hey 'whomitmay' you did not answer my first question. nbc got your tongue?
And i don't exactly like Fox news either.
So what other MSM outlet would you suggest to see what the other side is saying ? Or are you so entrenched in your liberal/progressive (whatever progressive means) views that your blinders never come off ?
What other side? You mean what Republicans say about an issue versus that of Democrats? Both NBC and CNN have Republicans on constantly to talk about what their opinion is about an issue. In fact you were just complaining about Gregory and his magazine- please tell me, who was Gregory interviewing on his show? Was it a Republican or a Democrat?
Really you are making a big deal out of an empty clip being shown on a news show, all that shows is a person who repeats fake outrages over nothing while ignoring the real issue. You claim you want news but reality is you only want news that you agree with and whine about non issues that is nothing more then human error on law. So tell us where you can use such a clip as most states limit the amount of rounds to hunt with. I also like how you insist that everyone knows what a multi round clip looks like, which is rather another sign of a righty, you make assumptions based on yourself, not all people pay attention to gun related items, why I bet you can find 1000's of people that don't know the difference between a removable clip vs a fixed magazine, in fact I but you can find people that can't tell you the difference between a break breach shot gun and a pump.
I find it ironic because they complain about how ignorant people are about guns and then turn around and state that everybody knows everything about guns when it's seen as politically convenient.
Regarding Ezra Klein's intro about the "fiscal cliff": Isn't this the same as the threat of a govt shutdown during the Clinton admin? Clinton ultimately agreed to sacrifice the very poor to appease the right wing, ending the entitlement to basic poverty relief (welfare). Who didn't know that this was a necessary first step toward wiping out Social Security (indeed, Clinton already began that process when he deeply cut aid to seriously ill/disabled Social Security recipients who happened to have minor children). (Note: Upon taking office, President Obama restored full benefits to the seriously ill/disabled.) We know the right wing has been drooling over Social Security. Should President Obama agree to sacrifice Social Security to appease the right wing, to reach a budget agreement (until the next budget session...)?
WMD = Wingnuts of Mass Destruction...an American nightmare, an American tragedy. From guns to government, today's Republicans are our nation's WMD. (Or is that IED, Ideological Explosive Device?).
BTW, did you hear that milk is about to double in price next week BECAUSE the WMD (Tea Party House Republicans) refuse to vote on the Farm Bill that has already been passed (bipartisan) by the U.S. Senate. And butter will go up in price (double/triple?), and cheese will go up in price (double/triple, and what effect will this have on pizza prices?), all because Republican WMDs in the House decided to do nothing, especially if doing something means actually doing something Democrats (and President Obama) are for. The Wingnuts of Mass Destruction have spoken, No Compromise, even if it means destroying America and costing/killing even more American citizens, including Republicans, both WMD and otherwise. Way to go Republican WMDs. Idiots.
Was Alice Rivlin the one who thought of ending welfare, redistributing those funds upward to the rich so they could produce a mass of "good, family-supporting jobs"? I'm sure she has some interesting recommendations for Social Security.
I still feel this continues to be part of the Republicans belief (or disbelief) that when they negotiated the fiscal cliff option, they would not be dealing with this President. I think that is why they did not have a plan B, C or Z - they never thought it would come to this point. With control of the White House, these delussionalists thought they would be having a very different conversation the day after the November election. If Romney is in the White House, bringing the Tea Party folks in line is simple. No Romney, though, and the Republicans are scrambling to figure out how they can survive staying the party of NO controlled by a small minority of Tea Party folks who hate the President while watching everyone's taxes go up, defense slashed, unemployment benefits stop while the world laughs at us like we are a bad episode of the Beverly Hillbillies.
Finally, I also find if fascinating that they want POTUS to work across the aisle when it has been criminal and disgusting how disrespectful Republicans in this Congress have been to him over the last two years with all of their un-American, birther, etc. comments. They must want him to develop the same amnesia Romney had during the election. Love your show!
Cue Bad Soundtrack.

NOW IS THE time - to give songwriters a shout out on TRMS !!!
Unless you agree that lethal unmanned ariel vehicle attacks (Drone Strikes) should be the new norm in which case you would be taking a very un-American and wretched viewpoint. My peers want this issue covered MORE, and music is a great way to cover controversial and difficult subjects. While politics tends to push people apart, music brings us together, and thats why its so important that you share at least a part the song Drone Strike by The Clever on the blog and or show!!!
