Is your reflexive response to this video to...:
a) ...tap your toes and bob your head and dig this kid's groove, appreciating the way children find ways to express their creativity no matter the setting.
or
b) ...shout, "Who the hell is doing that banging?!? You kids, why can't you just read a book? That's it, I'm throwing out all this sugary junk, it's making you crazy! When do you go back to school?"
If you answered b, you might need a refill on that eggnog.

Wow. That kid's got some mad beatz. Guess I must be feeling cheerier than I thought! (Reading a book's never a bad suggestion, though.)
Thanks.
;-)
Neato... now fold some towels.
Just kidding very impressive I wonder what he could do with a drum kit or a set of bongos.
That was really great!
Was it extemporaneous or composed? I know nothing of drumming. Either way, it was great!
This youngster has some serious talent! It's 5:45 AM, and I'm dancing around the computer, after only half a cup of coffee.
Let's check back with him in a few years to see what band has had the sense and/or good luck to hire him!
I agree. save this for the future "America's Got Talent" so they can use this as background footage.
Love it! As a musician that works with children: This boy has got it!
This kid is a prodigy. Let's hope he never gets hired by Spinal Tap.
There are worse fates.

How could that not make you smile?
A!
Looks like all the excellent folk agree: Christmas cheer and child prodigy wins the day!
Sure, but his parents are real glad they decided to not buy him a drum set for Christmas! They will wait until the wash room gets sound proofed for that!
Actually, Paul, from the notes under the video (where it's hosted on YouTube):
;D
You people are SICK! Kids should be seen and not heard!....
...could someone pass the eggnog?
This kid's a future Stomp member! Video definitely got a thumbs-up from me!
Beyond awesome! I would love to see what he could do with say pots and pans, maybe a trash can. Very cool kid!
My guess is he's already got some hand drums. You don't just pick that up on the fly. He could give a master djembe player a run for his money.
Tappin' and bobbin'!!
That kid is GOOD ... hope he got a set of congas for Christmas.

pssst hey kid.... it becomes impulsive. you're gonna have to find an appropriate outlet or learn to suppress that as you get older.
Mom: ALL RIGHT, I get it... you want a drum kit for Christmas. This is what I get for introducing my children to Lars Ulrich...
Wow, this kids great! But I'm guessing he won't be joining a marching band.
This is a gifted percussionist. He would be at home surrounded by the drums of any traditional culture on the planet. May he thrive!
That was me about 40 years ago. (Well, I might not have been that good then.) Any surface will do as a practice kit. This kid not only has rhythm, he's got a great ear. I might have to trade in one of my drum sets for a whirlpool washer. It would probably be easier to haul to gigs.
c) Lock the basement door before my daughters get down to the laundry room. :-)
Your daughters do laundry? Do they also cook? Can I have the hand of one of them in marriage?
Do you cook? Do you do the laundry? Do you want your dad giving your hand away in marriage?
Loving it! A is my response. Why wouldn't it be? Inspire creativity and allow for the mind to flourish. Liberal.
A all the way, go kid go !
How can you not get into it with him, particularly as that smile sneaks in? I think it's great! A time out for a bit of creative enterprise always wins in my book.
This would be great for a caption contest! 'Here ya go son, we got you a new Drum Set!' .. 'Ha Ha Charlie, you know that thing inside really is called a 'drum'! --look who laughing now dad!'.. 'Bet that was hard to wrap and put under the Christmas Tree.' .. 'Santa's now got a back problem.' .. 'Band Directors everywhere are sending out recruiting letters to his parents.' .. 'Concert Band, Yes; Marching Band --Not! .. 'Hmmm, is this an instrument in "Garage Band"?' .. Loved it, Funny! Creative kid!
