Ah, those were the days... *sigh*
Those were indeed the days. San Francisco - when I lived there (you couldn't make me spend 5 minutes among the wackos now - lefty wackos being just as nutty as righties, but differently) - was the only other big city in America besides New York where you could get around pretty easily without a car.
...the things I have seen on MUNI... Let's never speak of it again.
Still, San Francisco has one of the best transport systems in the nation.
