As far as Her testimony...remember how W refused to testify and when he did it was behind closed doors not under oath and off the record...and that was for a treasonable offense. In this case the report is already in. Three people have quit, and as much of the blame the state department took so did congress for blocking the requests for additional security in the first place. This is what gutting diplomatic security and hiring mercenaries gets you.

No one on the right actually gives a rats behind about Benghazi beyond the fact that it's a political tool to stir up the people who don't like this administration anyway.

What is the core issue here? It's not that the Ambassador was killed it's the notion that it was covered up during a presidential campaign. This isn't about lives, security, diplomacy or anything that matters. This is about the fact that it was an election year.

In the grand scale of "Scandals" this barely rates. This was a confluence of bad decisions that started in congress and ended with an Ambassador who liked to be in the field.

You want a foreign policy scandal? How about we climb into the way-back machine and punch in names like North, Poindexter, and McFarlane...

Isn't a blood clot in the brain one form of a stroke? Or is it only a stroke when the blockage is complete?

Yes and no. A clot is just an obstruction(like a tiny tea party republican) of blood cells that should not be there when platelets form unnecessarily or get shaken lose/snagged. Think a car stopping abruptly and the next car hits it and so on til you have a pile up of vehicles.

The clot in the brain does cause a stroke but the clot isn't the condition, it helps cause the stroke. So yes but not technically. You are correct though that it has to cause a significant blockage to cause a stroke. For Hillary she does not have, we hope, a clot in her organs that cause a blockage or stroke. It could have been that bad had there not been the intervention of preventative health care.

This is actually in some ways a reason for the ACA because people who don't have health insurance don't see doctors regularly so in a case like this the consequence of that can be dire. Had this clotting not been discovered Hillary could have had a stroke. Having said this although blood clots can be serious they can easily be treated with anti-coagulants when discovered before they do any real damage. It's easier, safer, and cheaper that way than having a stroke or a heart attack. Mrs. Clinton is a wealthy influential woman so naturally she has no problem seeing any physician in the world but for many they do not have that option. That has terrible reprocussions.
