In tonight's interview with outgoing Defense Department General Counsel Jeh Johnson, several references were made, particularly in the first half, to Johnson's address to the Oxford Union on November 30th. At the time there were some rights restrictions on the video, but it looks like now the Oxford Union has shared the entire address though their YouTube account, so here it is.

Normally I am a big fan of your show. You are one of the few persons who most of the time cuts through the partisan bull@!$%# and report something even if it is not as good news for the Democrats.
I am sitting at home with a fever and watching last nights interview and my fever shoot up after you TOTALLY AND UTTERLY FAILED to ask Jeh Johnson A SINGLE ONE direct question about the drone murdering program. WHY? You did mention it multiple times in your book but you didn't think it was important enough to bring it up on the program? Or was there a deal to give the interview only if you didn't mention the drone program?
I am a little closer to loosing faith in Americas reporters. This really makes me sad!
Extension:
"It in effect counts all military-age males in a strike zone as combatants, according to several administration officials, unless there is explicit intelligence posthumously proving them innocent."

Seriously? No questions about that to one of the Obama administrations top lawyer?
Yeah, seriously, wtf?
