Apollo was on an episode of NatGeo's "Brain Games." In that episode, it studies how distractions can limit your "awareness" of things, and Apollo demonstrated that by lifting a guys scarf and wallet right in front of his eyes.
He simply occupied the guys attention with conversation and subtle body movements.
It was even hard for the viewer to catch.

This gentleman also pilfered Penn Gillette the magician, who was prepared for the pick. Gillette was not happy.
Now I know why I don't wear a watch.
