Refreshing honesty.
It's a good thing they passed right-to-work laws. They might've been dead last.
Just have to eff the working class more, and give more handouts to rich!
Bravo, WI voters!
SteveF, RTW has NOT been pased here in WI.
Well, I could act like a Republican by ignoring reality and making the claim again, or I can admit that I'm wrong. UGH! Sorry about that.
who could have predicted this?
the ones who knew.
And on Tue. Another Former Walker Aide will Be sentenced.....
that's good to know.
thanks
hope it grows to the top.
Hey Pilot He "borrowed" from a Veterans Fund. And a couple of other's, The whole problem is the Veteran's fund was taken from them, And there was never a problem with how it was handled or used by the Veteran's group. So Walker decides to grab it, Then look what happen's, My other link's show what the heck this guy is doing. The Mortgage settlement, Pay Raises?? 86% of that was used for "other Issue's" Besides what it was Meant for. Got on a Rant, The ADA is asking for 2 years in the Pokey!!!
Coming up with job ideas really shouldn't be partisan, but what the hell, if my party can create more jobs than your party, healthy competition, blah blah.
I like the idea that you don't go after existing companies and try to get them to relocate in your state. A very zero-sum idea that implies subsidizing (a la Walmart).
But, going after high-tech seems sketchy, info-tech seems passe, I'd keep those expensive options on the table and add expanding existing paradigms. The "night-life" and small farming in particular. The "night-life" can represent 20% of the economy and reinforce socialness. Win, win. Wisconsin eco-tourism? Shoes, cheese, fish, sporks, etc.?
We, the world, need to come up with positives (employment) for being 6 Billion strong! To me that harkens "encourage and elevate small farmers. Rebuild/restore the enviroment.
So for all of the corporate (and wealthy) tax cuts that Scotty came up with, it's apparent that he still doesn't know ANYTHING about attracting a company to the frigid lands of the cheeseheads.
Moving Forward?

Where is all the $$$ going?
I am sure that Walker and his cronies can spin this into a wildly successful endeavor!

So, it appears that for the majority of WI voters it is more important for the Republicans to be able to win all elections vs helping the citizens and economy of the state? How pathetic....

Marco, I love the fact that you put four exclamation points after the word period.
Marco, Follow the money, The John Doe is still an Ongoing Investigation.
Act 10 is still being challenged in the courts. Just because one illogical appeals court says it is constitutional doesn't make it so. . . yet!
This Republican administration in Madison is bad and does suck!
