Tricia, you are missing a key word in the first link - KEEP. Thanks for all you do - keep up the good work (and have a cup of coffee).
Actually I wanted to take out the "to"! Thanks!
I like your avatar. :)
Ah, that works too! It sure made me click on the link quickly, because I thought, "Please don't let the missing word be END!" Have a great day!
Really, VA? Those guys are beneath contempt.
I love my state of Virginia but I am ashamed of the underhanded tactics of the Republicans in the General Assembly. Not surprised, mind you, just ashamed!
I can only hope that the People of the State of Virginia are paying attention to what is happenning right in front of their eyes. Bottom line...Anyone still think that this isn't about Race?
I have been paying attention and one slight correction we are a Commonwealth which makes it even worse. For some reason the legislature in Virginia has been quietly doing a lot of redistricting and yes it is about race. They are redrawing the lines so that the republicans lines are drawn thru a predominantly black demographic.
Is that constitutional? can Arizona be declared illegally insane and keep acting like a state without any supervision?
Since when do states get to decide which federal laws are enforceable?
Maybe they are lonely and are hoping for a visit from the National Guard.
The worthless senate democrats choose failure once again , nothing like handing the minority the senate , right after spending billions on an elections , with millions of voters pitching in to take even more seats in the senate ....... now 40 senators can shut everything down again , why should dem voters even bother?
The gop are openly saying they will shut the senate down as we speak .....it is all to clear the conserva dem leadership like this way , now they can whine and tell everyone the mean gop are shutting everything down , and how it is not their fault , which is complete BS , wall st and the conserva dems likes it this way , so the billionaire dems comply , period
by by democracy , meet the new plutocracy
Correction on the last point: Malian/French forces have actually taken 3 towns so far; Diabaly, Konna and Doutenza.
They are currently pushing towards Hombori.
*sorry, that's Douentza
three cheers for filibuster reform. let's hope they do it.
Forgive me if this has been covered, but my schedule has changed drastically since early Dec. and I find myself either missing or falling asleep during your shows. I was wondering if anyone know what's going on here: http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2012/12/18/arkansas-town-to-have-martial-law-armed-police-patrol-streets/
The last articles I can find are from mid-December.
After reading Chuck Todd's "First Read" column I'm left with trying to imagine how President Clinton's "third term" (Al Gore) would have altered the course of our present reality IF it hadn't been prevented by Rove, Jeb Bush, Katherine Harris, and Bush's heirs on the Supreme Court.
Personally, I think the Democrats deserve six terms to make up for that, with at least two of those terms with a Clinton in the White house. I think with all of the voter suppression and electoral games that the GOP is inventing that they realize the only way they can win a national election is by cheating. The GOP needs to be locked out until they seriously rethink their ideology.
