Time to make contraceptives and abortion pill over the counter.
Yes, and past time to make women's health mainstream and not something done off to the side, in a crampy little building that can be picketed and targeted.
True-- and if anyone needs more motivation, check out the Op Ed in today's New York Times at http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/22/opinion/leeches-lye-and-spanish-fly.html?_r=0
Why can't everyone be happy with pro-choice? Please talk to some men who have a wife or girlfriend getting an abortion and get their opinion on this matter?
It seems to me that placing barricades to the exercise of a lawful procedure is a violation of a person's Civil Rights! Not unlike some State Government telling a group of people they can't vote because they can't guess how many Jelly Beans are in a jar. This sure looks like a Federal matter to me.
Anyone hear of "Parents for Armed Security in Schools" (P.A.S.S)? They just entered the debate in NC on guards in School. All I can find about the organization is a Facebook page that was launched January 16. I am suspicious that the NRA is behind this "parent advocacy" group.
How about a Federal Bill mandating that all electoral votes be apportioned in every state? How can it be fair to do it in some states and not others? I know it will be difficult dealing with states that have just three electoral votes, but who cares about them anyway?
