Which I think is expected. Nothing has been done and nothing will be done. I don't even think there is anyone in custody or suspected at this point. I know there may still be an investigation ongoing, but I don't think much will come from it. So in the end, a US Ambassador and 3 other Americans were killed. Case closed. No biggie. It was just an Ambassador. Why anyone is getting worked up about this is a mystery.

This is more important than Mrs. Obama's eye roll. And I'm sure the First Lady would agree!!!!!!!!
What's newsworthy about the "eye roll" is the way it's being used as bait for people who don't like her (or people who look like her) to make ugly comments on various forums about her table manners and her appearance.
It looked to me like something in front of her got her attention, not an eye roll, and in the next moment everybody was clapping at whatever caught her attention just then.
I hate to burst their bubble or nothin', but I roll my eyes when John Boehner speaks, too. And if I'm trying to eat, I'll walk across the room, find the remote, and change channels.
I would agree with Fran; an announcement of "how about a round of applause", and a shift of focus. More imagined, Faux outrage.
Have to admit, Fran, I believe her expression was meant directly for Boehner, as FLOTUS stops mid-bite to react to what he's said. (I'm sure some enterprising lip-readers out there could tell us exactly what he said.) But even after all this time, I've been surprised that the haters were able to make this into the red meat they've been hungry for.

MSNBC's ratings are unfortunately falling precipitiously of late. Maddow has a strong possibility of regaining some strong regeneration. She reset her chart. MSNBC's habit of simply losing witty and strong and intelligent bloggers adds to MSNBC's fall. MSNBC's needs to help those of us who've added tons of repertoire to MSNBC over years before we bored of being exploited. If MSNBC wants us back, they need to play fair. If they don't, they will continue to lose ground. Don't treat strong bloggers like poop. Don't think you can just exploit. MSNBC and HP are champion blog exploiters. They can do better. They can act like human beings....or not.

Once upon a time I was working graveyard at the Kwiky-Mart in Denver when a kinda buff guy walked in with his mom and proceeded to tell the overweight guy who was hanging out "you need to luz some weight". The big guy shrugged, the buff guy said another "why don't you" and the big guy said something. One of them said "what'cha gonna do about it" and the other said "get my gun and shoot you". (I never claimed this was an interesting story). Soo, they both run out to their respective vehicles and buff guy has a pistol, and big guy has a rifle. I feel it's a good time to start stocking cigarettes below the counter. So in less than 6 or 7 sentences these fine young men were in a one way path to having to shoot someone. But that if it weren't for MOM standing between them.
