The Republican response to those who demonstrated the stupidity of their claim the storm shows there is no "global warming."
I just love folks who snap a picture of snow in New Jersey (or wherever) to show that environmentalists' concerns are ill-founded.
Which part of GLOBAL warming don't they get?
(Can't leave photo of hydrant up much longer - or my dog is going to relieve himself on my computer.)
Yeah, I was disappointed with Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, too.
Interesting. I thought it was one of the best-written pilots I'd ever seen (and I do that for a living), and that the series, which will be a metaphor for our imperial wars, fought by those who lack other choices, not going as well as the public is told, and fought against an enemy who is not what the humans believe they are, is that kind of great science fiction that explores big issues, rather than the usual "space opera" you get from mini-minds like George Lucas.
@TCinLA : I'll admit I chose BSG:B&C mostly for punchline purposes, and its music was better than Caprica's. (I really think the music was what killed that series, which is too bad, 'cuz it was an intriguing depiction of how polytheism might work in a civilization like ours.)
But this thing felt like another episodic shoot-em-up, with the episodes being 12 minutes long. If I'm gonna watch that sort of thing, I'll load up a bunch of Superjail episodes on VOD.
My favorite SF series remains Firefly.
I think you're going to find there is more to it than you think. The metaphor of our imperial wars came across loud and clear.
I guess I'm dumb.
I kept looking at that picture trying to make it into some sort of recycling container.
Oops. Finally noticed the logo in the upper right.
You're not that dumb. I thought the same thing & I'm effing brilliant. Oh, and modest too.
Keith Moon Lives!!
Once again the Department of Water and Power leaves much to be desired.
Someone watched the grammys?
I'd love to say its a reaction to Jersey Shore, but all could think of was SCTV!

Rachel Maddow is putting out the fire of lies on television!
good caption might be: "Glenn Beck made me do it"
Clearly someone who has been a loyal Faux News watcher who finally had an epiphany on just how unfair and unbalanced Faux News cool aid is.
Fox News Pissed Off Another Loyal Viewer!
Truth busted by the empirial piss hole.
I'm mad as hell at teleprompters and I'm not going to take it anymore! (That *was* a teleprompter, right?)
Mebbe a delayed reaction from a 49ers fan?
As a dog owner, Bill was able to figure out the best place to put his TV during Fox & Friends....
Not even the dogs will piss on that.
(sings) Hallelujah! - It's Raining Meh!
Hey Chief! U should've worn your protection before engaging the media.. ;^p
"FOX FALLS!!!
The media' power has become too great in our society. The amount of influence burns like a raging fire over all political actions made in the U.S. today, and has become a contender in many political elections or policies. The T.V. represents social media, and the fire hydrant represents the immediate action that must happen to end bias in news broadcasting.
