And I'm down with making fun of people when they do really weird things... he didn't JUST drink water... he eyed the camera 4 times in 4 seconds while getting the water. It was creepy. I felt like he had to keep looking back at us to make sure we didn't go anywhere or get in trouble. Like the audience was his 2 year old he had to keep an eye on otherwise the toddler would end up drinking Drano.

It was the funniest rebuttal since "Howdy Doody" , I mean Bobby Jindal came out from behind the curtains...

I kinda felt sorry for him. He looked like a deer in the headlights. It was the republicans said you to him you want to get in good with congress and maybe be nominated for the GOP candidate? How could you focus on that mess of a rebuttal while the nation watches this guy squirm because he doesn't just take a second and take drink of water. I think these are social programs the Democrats are trying to protect. I flat out that it was a ridiculous because I couldn't clearly identify what was the republicans plan.

I've never seen a man not on drugs reach that level of virulent cotton mouth in 3.5 minutes. The President spoke for an hour without a single sip of water. It's a legitimate question why Rubio was so parched. Any clues? Was it opiates? Was it a nerves? Was it terror? Has anyone checked his diaper?

I think it is valid to note. He's being billed as the rising star of the Republican party with his eye on the prize in 2016. He followed the President of the United States who spoke for 60 minutes without a drink of water or wiping away flop sweat, Rubio couldn't manage 11 minutes without awkwardly reaching for a bottle of water. He's not ready for the big leagues and it showed.

I find all of this comedic. I clicked on this link to see "Defoxification" which is CLEARLY an opinion stream and none of you cared to read what the "articles" author's name was nor understand that it is "Comic Relief" if you will. Have you ever watched Fox"News"? Ever see their website? This had no hidden agenda of looking like a news article. It was clear by the title. But if you go to the other network, maybe it isn't so clear what is opinion and what is news. I guess it is what happens when a dog gets beaten enough, it flinches and tucks its tail at the sight of a rolled up news paper. News is not supposed to just scare you, it's supposed to update you. Everything I have read on Fox is 10% news that is communicated in a way to scare its audience into trying to find out more. It is how they engaged their audience. Arrogance hinders progress. Don't be arrogant and kind of think about it before you roll your eyes.

There were no WMD's, there were not people with evil horns on their heads, no people welcoming us who sacrificed to "liberate them". Instead, I found sand and blood from both sides. So if anything at all, I thank PRESIDENT Obama... not Mr. Obama, but PRESIDENT ELECT Obama and the people on the left that argued to bring us home... though many of our hopes, our youth, our once bright spirits and some of our fallen comrades blood remains to this day in the sands of that desert... at least let the left speak. In my eyes, when Mr. George W. Bush called the left "unpatriotic", they were the few patriotic enough to push for what is left of us to come home. In my eyes, Democrats Supported the Troops the most by calling for us to come home. They did not say, "Support the Troops!!!" while saying, "WE should still be in Iraq and Afghanistan!"... You are not the "WE" that was there with "ME" nor "US".

Actually gilbert, my point is "if you make a faux pas, take your lashings in good nature and get over it." Rubio is not the first to do so and I'm quite confident saying he won't be the last (Republican, Democrat, Independent, et. al.). To get this fired up over a drink of water by the right is comical for its own sake. I highly doubt a "Obama aide" moved the water, even if one did it's just a case of "here's mud in your eye." And if Rupublicans want the right to fling mud indescriminatly at others, they at least have to expect that some will get flung back. On top of all that - the speech was full of the same ole same ole tired boring LIES that have become the GOP standard crap - it just gets revisited and blathered about by new voices (in this case the unfortunate Mr Rubio who echoed Romneyisms at several places almost word for word) - so, a new voice that delivered the same ole drivel, complete with the childish water mishap.
