anything scheduled for the Washington, D.C. area?
American Univ!
American University! I love that place. Back in the day I used to go there for the annual National Conference on Organized Resistance.
American University on April 21st.
Are you coming to NC? Would love to have a signed copy of your book!!!! My husband and I would be there with bells on.....
It looks like American University is only open to AU ID holders. Is that right? I'd love to go, and trying to figure out how to get tickets.
Frustratingly AU went and changed it! I made plans to be there when it was listed as public-only.
I'm not seeing any Denver dates/locations! Boo! Ah, well. That's all right.
I know! No South Dakota either. :(
two years in a row now without coming anywhere near Denver! why? :(
Please please please come to Denver. Maybe the Tattered Cover.
Yes, please come to the Tattered Cover Denver!
I know Cheyenne is out of the question (I can't wait to leave) but no Denver?? Can you squeeze it in somewhere?
I know! Please come to Denver. The Independent Bookstore Tattered Cover often as authors come to do readings. We want you!!!
I couldn't believe Denver not mentioned either! Please come to Denver...I have a hard cover copy of your book I'd like to get signed! We love you here!
Me five!
me 6 or 100 for denver.
We got our U of A tickets the day they went on sale. Should be a terrific event!
how much are tickets?
Hey Rachel, are you coming to the Tucson Festival of Books March 9-10? The free event supports literacy organizations in southern AZ, help that you KNOW we need.
Heard you were invited - please come!
When is Rachel visiting the UK she would be extremely welcome
Andrew
On the : Unacceptable wait times worsen for beleaguered VA
How does a Country HONOR It's Fallen, by Their Own 'Sacrifice' in Taking Care of the Brothers and Sisters They Served With!!
Certainly no 'visibility' from the previous administration, it's congresses and the people served who waged two more wars, abandoning one, as to the Hubris you Rachel pointed out only the day before.
And Thank You for doing so, on Hubris, seems you're one of only a few even mentioning ten years later and still no accountability, But.....
No Revenues = No Sacrifice = Called 'Support' For The Troops = DeJa-Vu all over again

You have listed April 14th for when Rachel visits Philadelphia, but that is a Sunday. I am pretty sure the libraries are closed on Sundays.
But also, she does not show up on their schedule for that day from the website.
Also, apparently the Montgomery Library does not exist anymore. Typo?
Im from philly too - when you click on the location - it gives you the library downtown on the parkway - they may have it open on sunday for the book signing. Besides, I think the parkway one is open on Sunday
Nevermind, I saw now that it is the central library which is open on Sundays, but Rachel does not show up on their schedule calendar yet.
Best wishes Rachael.
Minneapolis?
Yes! Minneapolis or St. Paul - Macalester College??
Yes Minneapolis. You can come here Rachael We're a Blue State!!!!
Wait, no Jedburg? Gosh I guess they need a library or bookstore first.
Hey, when are you coming to Seattle, or even Portland Or
Especially Portland, OR....you can appear at Powells!!
Come to Washington state!!
Oh, please come to Portland, OR! I would love to meet you!
Another vote for Portland!
In addition to the Palo Alto event, is there any San Francisco date forthcoming?
I think she already did San Francisco.
By the power of Google, I summon knowledge from the ether!
Yes, she did San Francisco last year, on 12 April, in the Castro Theater. If you can catch a passing time machine, you just might make it.
No time machine needed. Was actually at the Castro event and had the pleasure of talking with Rachel briefly.
Just hoping to be able to catch her again in SF this time around...
Yes, in Los Angeles two days after my B-day...what a great gift. I'll be there getting my copy signed.
Thank you for giving the south some attention!
Please come to Bloomington, IN!!!!
What about the University of Utah in Salt Lake City? :) It is the blue dot in a sea of red!!
Is it possible to attend the Austin event without purchasing the $1000+ tickets? It is disappointing as the large venue chosen is really in conflict with the original intention of SXSW. I have previously attended large book signings and readings at locally funded venues such as Book People, HEB and the LBJ library rather than the corporate obstacle course that is SXSW. There is also the enormous university.
Yeah, I got all excited when I saw Austin, but then I saw SXSW. Cross that one off the list. Would be much cheaper to drive to Houston but that event is already sold out. :( I see the Austin and Houston events are the same day so not much chance of adding any more accessible event to the schedule.
Dear Dr. Maddow,
As a dedicated sexy liberal, I feel obliged to point out that you will be in Chicago on the very same day that Stephanie Miller's Sexy Liberal Tour is coming to town. I think that Mama would be most upset if you did not make a guest appearance. Please confirm your attendance asap, as I have tickets to the SMS Sexy Liberal Tour and will be able to ride this wave of awesomeness all the way through April 13.
Respectfully submitted,
MG
Suburbs north of Philly, please
Rachel!! You must come to Portland, OR and Powell's Bookstore....we LOVE you out here. I already have the hardcover of your book...would love to have an autograph!
I don't see anything in Alaska.....my wife and I are bummed!
I'm bummed for you. We don't see much in our surrounding area either; not having a big ticket auditorium.
But once in awhile we get some big hearted great ones: Sammy Hagar, Tom Petty, Shari Lewis (RIP) and Lambchop. And we thank them for it.
Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA?
Come back to Portland OR, Rachel! I missed you last time.
Ithaca, NY? Please, please.
What about Seattle???
