The NY Times reports the Obama administration is working on a deal to give Republicans what they want on Benghazi so they don't have to give Democrats what they want on the legal justification for targeted killings.

Thought Rachel might like this.
So, the only thing the author of this article chose to insert in reference to the presence of Dan Senor is his "friendship" with Paul Ryan? Nothing about his role in Bush 43's administration or his role as adviser to candidate Romney?
Obscure Freedom of Speech Case in Indiana, regarding blogger Dan Brewington, currently serving a 5 year sentence in a medium security prison, has united James Bopp, Eagle Forum, The Hoosier State Press Association,Professor Sheila Kennedy and others, in an amicus brief written by UCLA Professor Eugene Volokh in support of Brewington's Petition to Transfer to the Indiana Supreme Court. The ACLU of Indiana also submitted a brief. http://www.danbrewington.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-short-recap-of-dan-brewingtons-case.htmlhttp://danbrewington.blogspot.com/2013/02/dan-brewington-receives-impressive-help.html
Loaded guns in bars. What could possibly go wrong?
Redneck heaven.
they should totally pass that law (in as many states as possible). the retarded rednecks will then proceed to killing each other in much larger numbers than they currently do. once that goes on for a while, the legislature(s) might then reverse their decision. either way, we win. :)
Rubio's Middle East trip is obviously part of his campaign for the presidency in 2016.
I notice in the photo of Rubio and Netanyahu "toasting each other with water bottles" that Netanyahu is keeping the cap on his bottle. Probably symbolic.
Why is Rubio is taking taking a trip to the Middle East to enhance his Foreign Policy , rather than working on a solution to the "sequester" or working on passing a jobs act to get Americans back to work, working on the bi-partisan immigration plan and looking at the tax loop holes to close. Instead he is preparing for his 2016 run with this "Foreign Policy" trip, he should do the job he was elected to do. We have a President and a Secretary of State who presently make our "Foreign Policy" not a wanna be for 2016.
For the very same reason that President Obama started campaigning for the 2012 race in 2009. For this type of person the quest to get/keep power is the only important thing.
I would rather think of Rmoney as a figment of our imagination. Which mask will he be wearing this time?
Are we supposed to use Decryptomomaddowology in a sentence, is that part of the game?

One of the best defenses of real, actual journalism I have seen come out of the US in a very long time. Sadly, it is also a commentary on intolerance.

I'm not exactly sure why the American people's jobs get put at risk when there is a budgetary crisis. Why are tax paying American's paying for Rubio and his band of brothers to travel all over, when correctly stated, we have a Sec. of State we pay for to do this as part of his job description. Also, the tax payers are paying for Speaker Boehner's decision to take DOMA to the supreme court, and we all know how expensive lawyers can be these days. How about the prison the federal gov't purchased from Indiana that was suppose to house the Guantomino prisoner's, that remains empty! If we can't stop paying this ridiculous Congress, why not start by reducing their budgets for all of their aides and stop paying for their parking for God sakes. I will continue saying that until we take money out of politics, we will NEVER, get representatives who are willing to make the big decisions. Anyone who works in government knows the level of absolute disfunction involved in trying to get anything done. It doesn't have to be this way...something must change. Let's start by getting rid of the party of "NO"
Budgets cuts should start with Congress. No pay. No medical coverage. No flying on America's dime (Average workers don't get paid to and from work) No retirement packages. No more vacations longer than 2 weeks, like the rest of the working public.
Rachel, please look at Indiana. Gov Pence and GOP here are really doing some real damage to womens rights and not participating the ACA. Why does Indiana get a pass on this? Call them out. They are not up to any good.
why did you air the edited version of the McCain interview? that's fox news - that's them, not us. we are better than that.
Hi Rachel: I watch your show via podcast and was particularly interested in the segment on the VA backlog. I can't believe veterans have to wait over a year for a response as to whether they're eligible to receive benefits!
I am a dual citizen, both Canadian and American, and I am in need of full-time work. If the VA would be willing to hire me, I'd move tomorrow. I want to help! I can forward my resume to show my experience. I am a hard-working woman and I want to make a difference. Can you pass this along to them, Rachel? This isn't fair to the men and women who have risked their lives, only to come back and face yet another battle at home.
Thanks so much.
