I don't think a Congressional race in the city of Chicago is going to tell you anything about the gun debate in the country as a whole. Chicago has historically been one of the most anti-gun places in the country.

As it was Well Publicized, the GOP Republicans' Priority, During President Obama's 1st Term was, "to Make President Obama, a One-Term-President", which they Obviously Failed to Accomplish, Even Though it wasn't for Lack of Trying, to Put it Mildly ! ?

It Now Seems to me, that the GOP Republicans' Priority, for the President's 2nd Term, is to "Run-the-Clock", Every Step of the Way, to Ensure that President Obama, "does no Accomplish Any of his Promises to the American People, and the World" ! ?

It Seems to me, that in Both the President's First Term, and the 2nd Term, the GOP Republicans' Priority Commitments, have it that Everything Else is "Collateral" - the People's Welfare, the Economy, the Security, the Country, the Military, etc., and that they Seem to have Made up their "Collective Mind", that they are Willing to Live with the Consequences Thereof, which Sounds Suicidal to me ! ?

I'm in total agreement the GOP is still holding the american people hostage in fact they have gotten worse. We send our elected legislatures to Washington to represent "We the People " the American people for the good of all Americans and the United States. After asking and even begging our legislatures to do their jobs they have consistently refused as we can see the GOP have no heart. I'm speaking of the sequester. Mr. Speaker Of The House sent people on two weeks leave during a crisis instead of coming to the table with the Democrats to compromise and work out a resolution. Therefore thousands of people may be in danger of loosing their jobs. What does it take for the GOP understand about a deficit that is already depreciating and yes we must take a fair and balanced approached to achieving these goals with not just cuts but with revenue as well. I don't think it would take a rocket scientist to understand where we must go from here you do the math. Ending the two wars started by former President Bush has saved millions and will continue to save millions. The GOP's agenda is not based on facts it's more of the same in old ln all due respect lies. We the People" are not buying the lies anymore. It leads to my question can the American people take Congress to court for gross negligence we have exhausted all other means. Enough is Enough wake up America there is power in numbers. And we must fight back now and when we go to the poles in 2014 !!!!!!!! Remember who is going to work for the American people not for their own personal hatreds.
