The whole thing that's missing from this sequestration debate is this- the GOP is prepared to crash and burn the country's economy and credit rating in order to protect the wealthy against a 3% rise in their tax rate. Well guess what- those of us on the lower end of the scale lost our one year 2% tax break this year. So those of us who can least afford it and consist the bulk of the consumer economy in this country get a tax hike with nary a peep from the GOP, yet the wealthy "can't afford it" and it will be "disastrous for our economy"? I call bullsht.
