Campaigning is already well underway in Massachusetts, which will hold its Senate special election primaries next month, before the June 25 general election. With this in mind, there was a Republican straw poll held over the weekend, which state Rep. Dan Winslow won.
There was, however, a question about the event's location: Republicans gathered at a yacht club in the state's Northeast corner.
Winslow ... said he thought the event sent the wrong message.
"They gave us three minutes to speak today; three minutes is longer than I ever wanted to spend in a yacht club," Winslow said. "I am not a tea and crumpets Republican."
Oops.
Winslow's professed enmity toward yacht clubs is apparently newly found: as recently as 2011, the candidate disclosed that he served on the board of directors for the Pamet Harbor Yacht & Tennis Club.
Presumably, when Winslow was on the yacht club board, he spent more than three minutes in the building.

If you are rich and belong to a yacht club don't lie about it.
Your job is to convince me you support credible policies and, believe me, the lie won't help your case.
It does, however,make your opinion of the voters clear.

Lying is hard work, and in this day of instantaneous news, hard to get away with. Best stick to the issues - ah, unless you plan to lie about those too.

repoops are all about the shortcut GIMMICKS OF "SUCCESS". SUCCESS being the taking and gathering of money and power from and tto the detriment of others to weaken them to take more.

Republicans are like a runaway freight train with no controls. Republicans keep up their load of crap until we all go head long into a major wreck just so some rich bastards can keep screwing the American people. All Republicans are really proving is how they are really only for their own self-interests and for rich bastards. They even have guts enough to show Romney again with pride like Romney is some precious gem that needs to be valued and should have been in the White House to finish off the average American. Just don’t think things can get any sicker than they have been, but than again rich bastards and Republicans will find some way to even exceed that. Considering how the Republicans have consulted the CIA for their devious plans of war, there is little doubt they will use the CIA again to screw us all over again and again.

In Winslow's defense, I'll bet his yacht club hasn't served crumpets at board meetings for many decades.
and to protect themselves from hungry masses elsewhere they did so in "quiet rooms" behind locked doors in secret locations to plan their next ways to raise prices to force loans to set the trap for bankruptcies to steal more land and homes from residents.

America has been about advertising for a long long time. The "shortcut" people (mostly repubes and MSM) believe that they can "shortcut" a person into office - with blurbs and bites.
The lack of depth and lack of reality posed by advertisers is what is destroying america. The only way to change this is to 100% boycott advertisers and the like until they are 100% broke and out of business - to end their business model of defrauding to the public and diminishing lives in America.

This is a real problem...A huge part of the right's fake reality is that they jam everyone into obtuse pigeon-holes and unrealistic stereotypes, uttering empty generalizations about political identities, cultures and people from inside the safety of their personal bubble.

To be fair there seems to be no shortage of Massachusetts politicians from either side of the aisle who can afford a Yacht or at the very least to hold an event at a yacht club.
i belong to a yacht club in quincy, ma. i love TRMS but its a stereotype that all yacht clubs are posh resort like places, they are in fact the minority. yacht clubs like daversport are for profit, while most are all are non profit, heres the differences that sets non profit clubs apart. non profit yacht clubs, like mine, the membership is comprised mostly all of middle class ordinary americans ie police officers, firemen, teachers, tradesmen, etc. our clubs are managed by officials who are elected by the membership, and are donating their time without compensation. our yacht club is maintained mainly by our own membership with volunteers with experience in carpentry, diving, welding and more to keep our operating costs low, so low that the cost for membership for most yacht clubs is about averages $40 a month. most of the boats, or yachts in my club, and most others are not large multi million dollar vessels, the majority of the largest yachts are older models that on average dont cost more than a new midsize car . our property and clubhouses are not mansions, with ballrooms and chandeliers with large manicured lawns with tennis and badminton court. the reality is most yacht clubs, the property will range from a simple small building with lockers, to a clubhouse that resembles more like a modest vfw that may have a simple function hall to host small club events, a galley, and bar room. most all of the rest of the property you may see a bbq pit basket ball hoop or horse shoe pit, but especially in your northern ones, the rest of the property will be used for dry boat storage for the winter months, and we'd hardly welcome any of those candidates to set foot near it. daversport yacht club is the 1% of yacht clubs, for the 1%. not the 99%, that makes it affordable to bring their kids fishing, to take a yearly vacation cruising to marthas vinyard, and not to mention we also have really cheap beer too.
