hey guys , Rachel Maddow should do something more beside what she has been doing, explaining the democrat position on some issue like budget , the gop think that by talking or doing over and over people will believe to them ,
so Rachel on her show can do the same by explaining over and over the dem positions on many issues , the difference is that the dem positions are common sens , more balance approach and common sens issue compare to the gop extreme position on each issue

Perhaps removing the wax from your ears you could hear the facts presented on the show. I realized that FOX is more entertaining to those who want mere opinionated rants than actual news but some of us appreciate actual evidence and statistics.
Michigan's state appointed emergency managers is fascism at its finest. This really scares me that this can happen in the US.
As a person that grew up loving Motown a lot (among other kinds of music) and the family car was a Pontiac, I am so very sad for Michigan. How can this be? What person can vote for such as these Snyders and Walkers and Scotts and the guy in Ohio, etc...

OK. Just wanted to share. That opening 20 minutes made me cry hard.
As a father of 6 children who hears rapid semiautomatic gunfire from a range nearby a playground where my children attend classes, I am reminded 3 days a week about the images I imagine occured at Newtown. Alternately, it makes be on edge, or depressed or pissed off.
Today, it pisses me off. Especially that look of glee in Cruz's eye as he defended such tools of murder and mugged as he clumsily attempted to dip pony tails in ink wells. No, pissed off is not the word. Contempt is closer.

We have to roll these guys out of office for a generation. There is no talking to them. We have to organize around winning the key House races so we can get Pelosi back in power. Then, we can pass serious controls not just on the military weapons, but get some meaningful controls on the handguns.

I used to have an apartment in a beautiful old landmark home, in the heart of my city. And I would hear gunfire often from my bedroom window. It was a horrible thing to have in my life.
So I moved to the suburbs.
In my earlier years, I was lucky enough to wander the heart of many large cities. Though at the time I looked like a hoodlum, the only ones I felt certain I could go out at night and not run the risk of getting shot were all in Europe.

Getting those handguns out of the hands of the kids on the street is key.

As an attorney, I can't believe that the Michigan Bar Association, the University of Michigan Law School, The American Civil Liberties Union and a host of others are not on the case. This is the most flagrantly unconstitutional law I have ever beheld. This is utterly undemocratic and it just must contravene the Michigan State Constitution and of course, the US Constitution. This can't be happening! Are you @!$%#ting me?! This is America....isn't it?

I knew it was endgame when the patriot(sic) act passed.. then a constitutional scholar like obama gets elected and does nothing to restore the constitution.. looks like that liberty and freedom is gone forever... Those of us who live or have lived in Argentina wouldn't agree with the TheQ's "kickass" comment. Everyone thinks Cristina is a loony disaster.
Would she compare favorably to Palin or Bachman? Perhaps FOX could hire her as a foriegn correspondent?
In one sense that's a tough question. Earlier this week Cristina gave a speech whose main purpose was to say that "Diabetes is a disease that mainly affects the wealthy." So she's quite the loose cannon. But she's also a lot more clever politically than either of those two morons. She also has a lot more power, so imagine if Palin was governor of a very big state for eight years. I think Cristina is probably better than either Bachmann or Palin would be, but that's not saying a whole lot.
It's not all her fault. Various predecessors have really damaged the economy. But they're now ten years into the Kirchner regime and nobody can really claim that the results have been a boon for the country. Cristina tends to talk over the heads of everyone - much like Bush did in the US. "With us or with the terrorists" kind of thing, but replace terrorists with some other ill.
She is an economic disaster, I heard, and has a difficult time handling opponents (Clarin, for example), but she still does not compare to the ultimate disaster that was Carlos Saul Menem...
A good point, Vincent. You ask an Argentine why they put up with this, and 95% of the time they just shrug the shoulders and say "It's Argentina." The implication being that even if the jokers in office were not in office, they would simply be replaced by other jokers. Case in point: Menem keeps running for president.
And when you hear former Formula One pilots are regional governors...
