Did you ever wonder if Republicans are intentionally contradicting themselves, playing both sides of the issues, so that they and their propagandists can use whichever side happens be the most beneficial to them at any given point in time?
It's always harder to hit a moving target. They can choose the side most beneficial at the time, and later change as the situation changes, and claim ignorance of their previous stance.
